Ethics Introduction: Nowadays, it is commonly recognized that when you are pregnancy but you do not want baby, you can go to an abortion. Also, along with the advances in medical science, there are more and more different ways to abort. Since abortion involves not only the rights of pregnant women's health and self-determination, but also involves life and death of the fetus, which can be called fetal rights, so the abortion is an ethical issue. Abortion is a controversial act in many countries especially in western countries. Though the adults have rights to choose whether they want babies or not, does the fetus, which is a potential person, has right to life on the grounds' In my opinion, he or she does. Content: Is the fetus a person' When a person's life begin' There always have different answers about this question. At the time fertilized egg in the womb after fertilization, a person's life had already started. From the fertilized egg to the baby, as well as the development of adult stretches without a break, step by step, despite the various stages are different physically, but these differences in the morally irrelevant. Is the fetus alive' Of course it is alive. In fact, those who support and defend abortion, and who would opposed granting fetuses rights “as people” opine that the “thing” in the human womb is not “alive.” But if it is not alive, why they need to abort it' Simply leave it alone! Obviously, of course, from their perspective that is not an option because, as everyone knows, in nine months, that growing, vibrant, developing fetus will result in a living human baby. The truth of the matter is that human life begins at conception and is continuous, whether intrauterine or extra uterine, until death. Consider the following scientific facts regarding the living nature of the fetus. Firstly, the baby’s heart starts beating 18-25 days after conception. Secondly, by the age of two months, the heart beats so strongly that a doctor actually can listen to it with a Doppler stethoscope. At about this same time, brain activity can be recorded by use of an electroencephalogram. Brain waves are readily apparent. Thirdly, by the age of two months, everything is “in place”—feet, hands, head, organs, etc. Upon close examination, fingerprints are evident. Although less than an inch long, the embryo has a head with eyes and ears, a simple digestive system, kidneys, liver, a heart that beats, a bloodstream of its own, and the beginning of a brain. Through the above-mentioned reason, we can certainly define a fetus as a person; each of innocent babies in the womb should be regarded as person, since from the moment of conception to enjoy all human rights. Legally, no one has the absolute right to control others. People's lives are interlinked, and therefore, in order to benefit the community, many of the rights of individuals must be limited. For example, no one has the right to harm their own bodies, drug abuse, suicide, or to endanger the lives of others. Life in the womb is the same; no one has the right to destroy it. In the issue of abortion, there are two extremes: conservatives and liberals. The extreme conservatives opposed to any form of the abortion at any stage, they believe that the fetus is human beings, have the same rights as adults, therefore, all forms of abortion is immoral. While the more moderate conservatives allows therapeutic abortion, they believe the beginning of pregnancy while the fetus is human beings, have the same rights as adults, but his or her right will not higher than their mothers’ right. Should a fetus have rights' The answer is: Yes, a fetus should have rights! Since it is a really life as soon as the fertilized egg resulting from sperm and ovum, fetus is already a human being. The fetus is a potential person, it will become a baby when it comes into the world, therefore, the baby's life belongs to the baby; other people cannot be arbitrarily deprived of the baby's right to exist. Fetuses do have rights. They, just like every other living human, are made in the “image and likeness of God” (Genesis 1:26-27). And that is the greatest right of all. Conclusion: In conclusion, I believe that human life began with a moment of fertilized eggs, embryos, fetuses are human beings with the same rights as adults, is divine and inviolable. Hence, the fetus has right to life on the ground that we adults can not deprival. However, their rights are not more than the mother's rights, in the life of the mother is threatened, in order to save the pregnant woman's life, they will have an abortion. In making decisions on abortion, we must take a mother's psychological and the fetus's life into consideration, if we only follow the moral rights of the fetus, while ignoring the moral rights of others, then we will conclude that the fetus's right to life In any case can not be deprived of all.
