Environmental Pollution
America and the World need population control laws that limit population growth thus conserving and saving water and natural resources. I have read articles from numerous sources that state in the year 2050, 2.7 Billion people will have a severe water shortage problem. Meaning there want be shortage of clean water to drink and shower with. This could be a touchy subject in the United States and in many western civilized worlds where the government steps in and tells them how many kids a family can have and what not. It’s happening this very minute in countries like China and Japan. The only thing that can be done is to regulate immigration reform and restrict a foreign alien’s tenure here in the States.
Cars don't always perform well on the road as they do in prototype tests. Smog inspections let motorists know when pollution control devices are malfunctioning and when fuel is being wasted. Repair programs make sure every car is doing its share of the cleanup job
Nowadays with increasing the population in the entire world, need of people to transporting vehicles is increased. So, I believe that spite of importance of improving roads and high ways, developing the buses, trains or subways is more critical than ever. Improved roads leave to better fuel efficacy for vehicle, less carbon emissions, and over top performance for newer gas efficient vehicle’s.
As mentioned above, with newer gas effective vehicles would provide fewer trips to the gas stations and less carbon emissions leading to a healthier more breathable pollution free atmosphere. Fuel efficient cars are the future of the world and the future of mother Earth in its self.
Some authorities are turning to what they hope might be ‘quick fixes’ to meet their allowances, such as incineration and large-scale biological treatment of household waste. The alternatives to incineration are cheaper, more flexible, quicker to implement and best for the environment.
Recycling is one of the best ways for you to have a positive impact on the world in which we live. Recycling is important to both the natural environment and us. We must act fast as the amount of waste we create is increasing all the time.
The amount of waste we create is constantly increasing because increasing wealth means that people are buying more products and ultimately creating more waste, increasing population means that there are more people on the planet to create waste, new packaging and technological products are being developed, much of these products contain materials that are not biodegradable, and new lifestyle changes, such as eating fast food, means that we create additional waste that isn’t biodegradable.
Wind turbines of all sizes have become a familiar sight around the world for a wide variety of reasons, including their economic, environmental, and social benefits. The potential for wind energy is immense, and experts suggest wind power can supply more than 20% of U.S. and world electricity. Nevertheless, the United States currently produces less than 4% of our electricity from wind. The reasons for wind energy promotion are revitalizes rural economies, fewer subsidies, free fuel, and promote cost-effective energy production. Also, in our current state of economy, producing wind energy would create jobs!
Give those companies that drive to take charge. Many financial incentives are offered at the state level through state government agencies and utilities. Utilities offer a wide array of incentives funded by ratepayers through a systems benefits charge, which in many cases accrues into a Public Benefits Fund (PBF) that supports energy efficiency investments.
We have come a long way since the use of the modern light bulb. For example, in many homes we have gotten away from the standard 60watt bulbs and have replaced them with a longer lasting, less energy efficient 10-15 watt LED bulb. The same technology used to come up with those type of LED lights need to be introduced not just in the modern suburbia, but in every part of the US and world for that matter.
In conclusion, the legislations that I have set which are within the city councils budget, should and will have a lasting effect for the future of the city. If successful, many of these operations that are presented and set into motion could and should be implemented everywhere in the United States. Of course, like any other legislation, it must be passed through proper proceedings and will most likely be adjusted and readjusted so that the politicians and lawmakers could make their final onions and objections until it is passed or subsequently denied. Never the less, this is my proposal.
