What do these statistics reveal about Asian diversity in America' In my opinion, the statistics reveals that the Asian population makes up a large part of the U.S. population as a whole even though it seems to be concentrated in just some of the states. The increase in the Asian population during the period totaled more than 400,000. Income Median income for single race Asians in the U.S. is $70,069. Median household income varies greatly by Asian group. . Education 50 % of single-race Asians 25 and older have a bachelor's degree or higher level of education in the U.S.. 85% of single-race Asians 25 and older have at least a high school diploma in the U.S.. 20% of single-race Asians 25 and older have graduate (e.g., master's or doctorate) or professional degree in the U.S.. Career (there are more than three statistic options that can be used here) 48% of single race Asians that are older than 16 work in management, professional and related occupations, such as financial managers, engineers, teachers and registered nurses in the U.S.. 1.1 million businesses are owned by Asian-Americans in the U.S.. More than 3 in 10 Asian owned firms operated in professional, scientific and technical services, as well as other services, such as personal services, and repair and maintenance. Location California has the largest Asian population of all the states in the U.S.. Hawaii is Americas only majority-Asian state. Asians were the largest minority group in Hawaii and Vermont. Future 2.6 million U.S. residents in 2050 who will identify themselves as Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander or Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander in combination with one or more other races. Those who identify themselves as Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander or Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander in combination with one or more other races will comprise 0.6 percent of the total population by that 2050. A132% increase is expected between 2008 and 2050 in the population of people who identify themselves as Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander or Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander in combination with one or more other races.  Miscellaneous: Voting, Age, Language 49 percent of Asians turned out to vote in 2008 which is up about 4 percent from 2004. A total of 3.6 million Asians voted. 36.8 years is the median age for the Asian population as a whole. 2.5 million people 5 and older who speak Chinese at home.
