下面为大家整理一篇优秀的assignment代写范文- An Analysis on the Issue of Malnutrition,供大家参考学习,这篇论文讨论了营养不良的问题。

Introduction
In general, the individuals who suffer from malnutrition are more likely to be infected by diseases. Comparing to youths and adults, elders are the high risk group. Is malnutrition a common problem? Can any methods be used to mitigate the problem? The goal of the paper is to answer the two questions through analyzing three research papers on this area.
The Seriousness of Malnutrition
It is estimated that approximately 25% of the elders are suffering from malnutrition and two-third of the elders around the world are at nutritional risk or malnourished(Kaiseret al., 2010). It has been a predominant condition that destructively affects the health of older people. Before such circumstance goes graver, it is necessary for relevant organizations to attach great importance to this issue. In addition to the assistance come from these organizations, individuals, especially the elders, should pay much attention on the nutrient of their meals and realize the seriousness of malnutrition.
Comparison among the Three Researches
The Primary Source evaluates the prevalence of malnutrition in elderly people using the Mini Nutritional Assessment (MNA). From the test results, readers can realize that malnutrition is a ubiquitous problem that the whole society should be deeply concerned (Kaiseret al., 2010). Under this circumstance, researches figure out different methods to deal with this problem. The authors of the Second Source are engaged in designing and building a system to monitor old patients’ meals. Comparing to the elders in good health, the sick ones need more nutrient and some may have certain dietary restrictions. With this system, doctors can monitor their patients’ meals all the time and effectively prevent the occurrence of malnutrition (Anonymous, 2011).While, the Website points out an unsatisfactory fact that current agencies do not offer services to the elders, who are more vulnerable to malnourishment. Hence, as illustrated in the Website, some organizations work together and develop a method to assess the nutritional needs of older people in emergencies (Pascale, 2014).
Comparing to the Second Source and the Website, the Primary Source is more reliable, since its result is achieved by an experiment. Basically, it can be seen as a scientific experiment, but it also has a number of limitations. For instance, even though the samples cover all five continents, however, most of them (about 80%) are focused on European populations. To simplify the experiment process, it categorizes all samples into four settings: hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation and community. However, it fails to explain whether the samples in each group have similar characters. The sample size is 4507, which may seem large enough, but the results may not be generalized because of the experiment method(Kaiseret al., 2010). Hence, from these perspectives, the experiment mentioned in the Primary reference does not perfectly meet the basic steps of a scientific method.
In addition to the topics mentioned above, I also want to know the prevalence of malnutrition in developing countries, such as China and India. In my perspective, malnutrition should have certain relationship with the standard of economic. I think I can find that information through reading research reports wrote by relevant organizations in these developing countries.
Conclusion
In developing countries, about 25% of the elders are experiencing malnutrition and the proportion is much higher for elder patients. Some companies are trying to developing certain tools or methods to quickly diagnose malnutrition, while others are engaged in supervising the nutrition of certain individuals’ meals for the sake of preventing the occurrence of malnutrition.
