相信大家都认识我，我的名字叫艾米，我来自中国深圳，深圳是一个非常好玩的城市，如果有机会你应该来深圳玩。我的爱好有很多，比如说打篮球，购物，看电影。当然我也有很多事情是不喜欢做的，比如说，爬山，但我想我会去慢慢尝试去做这件不喜欢的事情，毕竟这是一件对身体有益处的事情。在我心里一只有一个观念，你努力不一定能成功，但是你什么都不做那一定不能成功。我是一个非常开朗和乐观的人，并且是一个冷静的人，做一件事情之前我会把后果想清楚。我朋友都觉得我是一个开朗和乐于助人的人，因此我有各种不同类型的朋友。

I believe that everyone has already known me. My name is Elmy, coming from Shenzhen, China, which is a very interesting and amazing city. You should travel there if you have a chance. My hobbies cover a lot, such as playing basketball, shopping and seeing movies. Of course, I also have something that I am not interested in, for example, climbing. But I will try to like it and get down to it, because after all it is beneficial to our health. I always persist in the view that success might not come to me even though I have already worked hard, but success never favor me if you do not pay any effort. 我的家成员一共有9人，我有4个姐姐和爸爸妈咪还有爷爷奶奶，我四个姐姐跟我一样在国外读书，有的在英国有的在新加坡有的在澳大利亚。我们的关系都非常的好。我的爸爸是一名商人，他承担着我们家的所有支出，而我妈咪是一位喜欢旅行的人，她的梦想是环游全世界，她正在慢慢的实现着自己的梦想。我最敬佩的是我爸爸，他出身于一个穷家庭，能有今天的成就是非常的成功的，他一个人承担着我们家这么的支出。我觉得他非常的伟大，尽管他在忙他都会抽时间去陪伴我们。我认为我的家人对于我非常的重要，我把家人放在了首位，我会一直保护着我4个姐姐直到永远。

There are 9 members in my family, including my four older sisters, my parents, my grandparents and of course me. My four older sisters also study abroad as me, covering countries like UK, Singapore and Australia. We have a very good relationship. My father is a businessman and he bears the whole expenditure of our family, while my mother loves traveling and she is realizing her dream of traveling around the world. I admire my father most for that he was born in a poor family, and through his unremitting efforts he has already achieved success and is supporting our whole family alone. In my eyes, he is very extraordinary; no matter how busy he is, he will spare time to be with us. My families are very important to me and I will always put them first and protect my four sisters till the end.

在中国每个家庭庆祝节日和享受假期的方式都不同，当是假期的时候我们家庭会选择全家人一起去旅行，一起去享受美好的假期。如果是庆祝节日，我们一起在家做丰盛的晚餐一起吃。我们这一家发生过很多有趣的事情，还记得有一次我们准备坐飞机去一个地方旅行，但去到机场才发现我们都把身份证忘在家里了，最后去了海边享受阳光。

In China, families have different ways to celebrate holidays and enjoy vacations. When vacations come, we choose to enjoy them by traveling together. When holidays come, we celebrate them by making and having dinner together. There are lots of funny things happening in my family. Once, we have decided to fly to a place for traveling, but when we arrived at the airport, we found that our identity cards had been left home. Instead, we finally went to the beach to enjoy the wonderful sunshine.

在我9年纪的时候，我那时候不爱学习，而且还认识了一些坏朋友，所以我爸爸就把我送去了美国费城的一所军校，因为这所军校，让我改变了很多很多。它让我知道了男人应该要有责任心和做任何事都不能够放弃，遇到困难时一定要挺过去，让我知道了什么人该去作为好朋友，也让我身体变强壮起来了。

In my 9th grade, I did not like study and I even made some bad friends, so my father sent me to a military school in Philadelphia, US. With the help of that military school, I changed a lot. It makes me realize that men should be responsible and be persistent when facing whatever difficulties they come across. Moreover, I began to tell what kind of person can be good friend and I also became stronger.

The most influential person to me in my life is my father. He taught me how to be a upright man and how to survive in this strongly competitive society by describing me his life experience. I believe that he is a successful as well as a great hero. I desire to be as successful as, or even surpass him. My father, as an example, has inspired me to pursue a more meaningful and successful life.

我有一个好朋友叫mark，我是1年前在leman学校认识他的，那是他是一个刚转学过来的新生，他跟我来自同样的城市。他不高也不帅。虽然我们认识不久，但是我们的感情非常的好。我们周末会一起打球，虽然他球技没有我好，我们时常会一起去逛街，互相给意见，他的学习比我好，所以他会常常教我学术上的问题。当其中一方遇到困难时，另一方一定会尽全力的去帮助。

I have a good friend named Mark, who I met in Leman one year ago. At that time, he just transferred to our school and he came from the same city as me. He is not tall or handsome. Though we know each other for only a short time, we have a good relationship. At weekend, we played basketballs together, even though he was not as good at playing basketballs as me. We also always hang around together, giving each other advice. He did better in study than me, thus he also gave me some guides in academic problems. When one of us meet difficulty, the other one will try his best to offer help.

小时候我有也多梦想，在我最想的就是开一个飞机场，因为那样我就能拥有各式各样的飞机，但是我长大才发现飞机是不属于飞机场的。而我现在的梦想是以后要比我爸爸在事业上更加的成功。

When I was a kid, I had many dreams, one of which I wanted most was to open an airport, because I thought I could own assorted planes. However, when I grow up, I find that planes do not belong to airport. Now, my dream is to achieve more success than my father.

我在leman manhattan school的目标是考上波士顿大学，我来leman原因很简单，我想提高我的英文水平和考到波士顿大学，刚来到leman的时候我很兴奋，因为我以为会有很多漂亮的女生。刚来到leman的时候我的英文不是很好，不敢跟同学和老师沟通，但是经过自己的努力和老师的帮助，我的英文水平变得越来越好，因为后面还参加了篮球队，跟同学的关系也越来越好，不管怎么样，谢谢你 leman shcool。你让我学会了很多！

My goal when learning in Leman Manhattan School is to enter Boston University. The reasons I come to Leman are simple. I want to improve my English and enter the Boston University. When I just entered Leman, I was so excited because I thought that there would be many beautiful girls. I was also afraid of communicating with teachers and classmates because of my poor English. Due to my own efforts and my teacher’s help, my English kept progressing. Later I joined the basketball team and thus had a better relationship with my friends. Anyway, thank you, Leman School, for teaching me a lot.
