The social policy that may affect my future position as a human service worker is healthcare. The public health is related most to economic development and wealth distribution. Health insurance is a business that both provides and restricts reimbursement for healthcare itself in the event of disease. The public organization of health care consists of the interaction between doctors, nurses, managers, administrators and patients. A publicly funded healthcare is a form of healthcare financing designed to meet the cost of all or most health care needs from publicly managed funds. The fund may be a not-for-profit trust which pays out for health care according to common rules established by the members or by some other democratic form. People choose private health care over government health care basically because they can afford it and can exercise a choice. The interminable queues for NHS and a waiting list are enough to put off the most patient individual. Anyway access to a waiting list is not access to health care. If one is not satisfied with government health care and if you need a second opinion a private health care physicians are the natural choice. I would influence this policy by recommending a private setting for my clients. A private setting will enhance a faster treatment. Private settings also have the choice of your own private physician or specialist. Treatment can be done quickly at a time that is convenient for the client.
