Know what you put into your body. A. Make healthy food choices. B. Avoid fast food and sugary beverages. C. Educate yourself on portion sizes and food content. 2. Exercise daily. A. At least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity. B. Burn as many calories, if not more, than what you put into your body. C. Exercising also reduces the risk of many adverse health conditions. 3. Be aware of family history and traditions. A. Genetics affect a number of weight-related processes in the body. B. Obesity is a disease and can be passed down from one generation to another. C.
