The three challenges that may arise when writing a college essay paper. One of these is time, managing the time that is available to write a well developed paper, which supports the main point, sustains the interest of the intended audience, and is well research. Many people have other responsibilities that include a job, family obligations, and among others. This can significantly increase the person’s anxiety and lead to the miss management of time. The second challenge is researching the subject of the paper that requires patience and will add the substance, and credibility to a paper. Because, the majority of the essays written are persuasive essays, the research and the manner it is presented will affect its effectiveness of getting a point across. This will ultimately help to convince the audience to agree with the position that the writer is making. The third challenge is to maintain the interest of the reader. For instance, most people early in their writing development tend to use repetition of words or may repeat the same thought using different words. These three challenges can affect the tone and clarity of a paper, and the ability for the reader to understand what the writer is trying to convey.
However, there are a few strategies that can aid the writer to overcome these challenges in their writing process. Managing time is a crucial element in writing a well defined paper. So start early! It can also allow the necessary time to research and develop the argument in a way that informs and adds credibility to the thesis. The key to any paper is research. A writer must successful define and support his main point with factual information that will help the reader to draw the desired conclusion. By providing information from credible and multiple sources, and include an opposing point of view that the writer can effectively refute, will strengthen the argument and add credibility to the writing. The use of an outline can not only provide structure and organization but can also help brainstorm ideas that will assist to maintain the flow of a paper. Finally maintaining the readers focus and interest is important, if they are to be persuaded. The tone must be professional and appropriate for the intended audience. Also, the use of correct and proper sentence variety and rhythm can make reading more enjoyable to read and contribute to the essays clear ability, and understandability, which the reader will greatly appreciate. In conclusion, it is important to identify potential difficulties in writing, and take the necessary steps to overcome these challenges in a manner that will accommodate both the writer’s and reader’s expectations.
