Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People- “ECPAT and Somaly Mam Foundation”
An estimated number of 1.8 million children are trafficked for sex in virtually every country all around the globe. "The Body Shop®" in collaboration with ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes) and “Somaly Mam” foundation worked together to raise money and awareness against this filthy crime. All proceeds from their two of the most admired products “Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream” and “Bag for Life” go directly into these two foundations. So, the consumers who purchase these products are getting directly involved in this humanitarian job.
Stop Violence in the Home- “Stop Violence in the Home”
According to different research revelation, at least 1 of every 3 woman is abused in her lifetime. These abuses include beating, coercion for sex and so on. However, things in “The Body Shop®” are way different. The palm oil they use in their soap is only collected from sustainable sources of Columbia.
