English Essay
Evaluation Essay
In my last two essays where, one was about a narrative essay and the other one about argument of fact. The first one emphasizes a story about “the election in Haiti”, which claims the “suffering of the people after the earthquake” and the other issue, which is the “hurricane”. Secondly, “the different aspect of the early Church compare to the Church today”. Due to the 2010 Haitian earthquake the election was originally been indefinitely postponed. Although November 28 was then decided as the date to hold the Presidential and legislative election Following the earthquake, Because there were concerns of instability in the country, and the election comes amid international pressure over instability in the country. Then also what about the second essay which is about “Church”, Church today, still gathers together in an assembly, yet there are some things that are not the same as in the century Church.
What can we emphasize about those two subject' At first, Many people in Haiti thought that was not the right time for elections. Because the situation is really bad. When I wrote : “ The disastrous and anarchistic environment that prevails, reminds us this city of Port-au-Prince hasn't gained a liveable life style from such a large natural disaster. Where the earthquake took 1000's of lives and destroyed around 100's of thousands more”. Later I wrote that David said that “Even without this prospect, many practical questions remain unanswered, with serious doubts over the organisation of the elections on November 28th. Some areas still have no voting centres. The metropolitan area, where more than 4,000,000 people live, is almost completely destroyed. This month, for the series of national exams”. And He continue to say that: “More than 43, 374 students will participate in the Western, Southern, and the Nippes departments”. Meant most of the schools were destroyed and scores of teachers and students perished. We look at these young people with a mixed feeling of admiration and concern, walking with confidence toward such an uncertain future. Beside that those with a strong mind wear their best attires, clothes are impeccably cleaned and ironed; an appearance that belies their living conditions: most of them are living in tents in very inhumane conditions. The sons and daughters of this land have been looking for a new dispensation for years, a new covenant made of social justice, economic opportunity, and political stability. Many died with this dream in their hearts. Today this generation is heading toward the same pit. The leaders who'll come out from this electoral process will have the moral and historic responsibility to build a new country and lay the foundations of a new society. Let's just hope these elections are not too controversial. I still need to work on my narrative essay because I did not respect the right structure, I did not establish who was talking.
The subject relates on the definition of the word "church" in the English Bible is ekklesia. This word is the Greek words kaleo (to call), with the prefix ek (out). The word means "the called out ones”. A more accurate translation would be "assembly" because the term ekklesia was used to refer to a group of people who had been called out to a meeting. It was also used as a synonym for the word synagogue, which also means to "come together," a gathering. I did not use a thesis to outline my major points. I did not accentuate the outline of my thesis. “Since believers have been united with Christ through spiritual baptism, they are sometimes corporately referred to as the Body of Christ.” I did use a medieval society for centuries, but it began to lose its grip those days. It was not only that it could not explain nor prevent the calamities that swept through the century, it was enduring its own calamities. The Church was at its strongest in the past, but within a few years of entering. It entered a series of crises that all but destroy it. The early Church means also “come together,” There's almost no love in Church and no more fellowship. As I wrote earlier the “early Church” used to have fellowship among the people by sharing the love of Christ as it says in his scriptures “you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I'm the Lord”( Lev. 19:18).
First the first subject “Elections in Haiti” I still need to work on my narrative essay because I did not respect the right structure, I did not establish who was talking. For the other subject which was The difference about the “Early Church and the Church today” that one was not good also because I did not stay on the topic of the Church and I should start each paragraph whith its own topic and that would help me limit less quotations.
