How could these be used in your workplace' A= the two communications I chose are IBM Lotus Connections and Confluence, both of these communications are collaborative web technology tools that allow communication by the use of social computing. Both of these communications are user friendly and they help users to make informed decisions. I think that this would be very useful to me in my workplace, in my workplace I need to have a communication here it keeps track of data which can be communicated thorough out a group of people that are interested in our company. The Confluence is used a lot by universities for their student information systems. This allows all the students from different universities to be able to communicate. This is a system that we would be able to use to communicate in different cities to see what they have to offer site seekers. Do these technological advancements in communication follow what is traditionally considered business communication' Why' A= I believe that in today’s modern technology a lot of the businesses tend to change with the new and changing communication technology for them to be able to stay on top of the profit margins. Technology is something that it always constantly changing and improving to make businesses better. I do believe that these technologies are much more advanced and they will eventually become the normal and it will set that stage for new technology in the near future.
