The team formation strategy that is most suitable for Riordan Manufacturing is Expectation of Goals. The team needs to know what is expected of each of them. They need to know what their goals are and know what tasks needs to be done and when. It is important that these goals be understood so that they can be met on time so that the whole team can reap any rewards for accomplishing their goals. They need to know communication is expected so that everyone can be on the same page and be expected to know that when conflict occur there will be consequences and that they will be resolved as soon as possible,
3. What potential barriers may arise during team formation' How will you address these barriers' Your response should be at least 100 words.
Some potential barriers that may arise during team formation would be that everyone came in with the idea that their ideas and goals and how they should be met. They will be coming in with their own experiences, beliefs, and opinions. They can be on the same page by coming together in the beginning as a team to come up with team goals and the steps on how to reach those goals. They could put all their ideas on the table and then discuss why some would work better than others in order to reach the goals and complete tasks.
4. What measures will be put in place to evaluate if the team is operating successfully'
The measures that will be put in place to evaluate to make sure the team is operating successfully would be to do team surveys or have weekly or monthly reports given by the team leaders to see exactly how the team is doing and if there is any conflicts that need to be addressed.
