Tattoos In today’s society popularity of tattoos has been increasing, and it is just as common to find tattoos on women as it is on men. Tattoos are more like a fashion statement that give a person chance to stand out, and broadcast who that person might be, and most tattoos are picked not just because of their design, but also because of their symbolic meaning which can show in what person may believe or that may belong to a certain group. Sometimes people get tattoos to show and demonstrate loyalty to the one they love, which is the reason of why I decided to have tattoo on me. Tattoos designs are easy to find, and people can find them in the local tattoo parlor, books, magazines or on the internet. It’s easy to find them by size, color or style, and there are often photos with people who already have the tattoo that person wants to choose, and can give and idea of how will look like when it’s finished. Tattoos are great to show but there are some bad things about them as well. Tattoos are produced by piercing the skin with a needle and injecting small amounts of ink, and because of this the risk of infection is always a possibility, and this depends on the sanitation of the artist and how clean is the equipment after been used. Because of this people should do a little research to find artist with good reputation before getting a tattoo. Another problem with tattoos is the difficulty to remove them, and best way to avoid this is to be certain where the tattoo should be placed and be happy with it for life
