Some of our experience includes employment in banking, customer service, education, government, and information technology. Collectively, we have expressed effectiveness in leadership and development, critical thinking, risk mitigation, research, analytical and problem solving skills. Though we are open to development in several areas, and especially within global markets, we are seeking continued development in the areas of Personal and Professional Values and Awareness, Initiating and Directing Change, Reducing Uncertainty, and Strategic Planning and Implementation. Learning Team Goals (May include project assignment goals, group process goals, quality level goals, etc.) To learn something of value from each team member that will make us better leaders and managers; to encourage an environment whereby each member feels they are a valuable commodity within this process; provide an open and respectful forum for ideas and discussions; foster a learning environment which will facilitate complete freedom to express opinions without intentional being offensive; to identify goals for each assignment and complete the necessary tasks in accordance to soft and rigid deadlines so that each member can provide input toward the accomplishment of achieving goals; all attached documents must be in a .doc format unless and until it can be established that our computer operating systems are 100% compatible; team must come to a complete consensus prior to submitting any project, otherwise the majority vote shall apply; develop strong relationships thus allowing prompt communication when deadlines cannot me met. What are potential barriers to the achievement of these goals' Individual perceptions and personal interests; timeliness of submitting projects; social lofting; differences in time zones; software compatibility issues; lack of equal participation; personal issues and obligations outside the classroom; failure to communicate when special needs arise; failure to clarify ambiguous emails or messages. Ground Rules Meeting schedule, locations, attendance expectations, agenda, assignment completion, communication methods, etc. To complete all projects two days prior to rigid deadlines, thus allowing a day to review the project and communicate any perceived changes or corrections to the project prior to its final due date; contact team members when situations arise that will hinder you from completing your portion of the assignment on time; compromise with team members when views are different; never compromise the integrity of work, as it will affect the entire team; agree to disagree; remain respectful and professional at all times; Implement an interactive interface to transmit information and share ideas; attend and participate 4 times a week; all members must be present and have valuable information to share with the group; fair and equal workloads; check/utilize all available avenues for communication, if possible; meet as agreed upon by the team which could be during the times we post participation on the discussion forums; respect all points of view and yield to the group when decisions are made with a majority vote. Conflict Management What are potential conflicts that might arise among or between team members during this course' How will team members deal with these and other conflicts' Potential conflicts that may arise are overall differences in opinions and what is perceived as an acceptable project for submission of a grade based on individual standards, whether or not each member will share the same sense of urgency in contributing and completing projects, time management issues, having to pick up the slack of another member, overall differences of viewpoints and ideas; use of rationality and listening skills to understand issues and be able to move forward. In that event, each member is expected to compromise and agree to disagree, respectfully and the majority rule will apply if an equitable solution cannot be established.
