What elements of law are important for Starbucks to consider' Katie was one of the top students in her class. She applied for a job at Starbucks in Orange County and started working. She and her manager started to have a sexual relationship before or after work. 2. Would you consider the manager's actions unethical for dating Katie Moore' If yes or no, explain. Yes I would consider them to be unethical because she was a minor and also many employees knew about this relationship at work and no one said anything all this happen while there were both employed at Starbucks. 3. If Katie Moore was 18 years old, would your decision change' If yes or no, explain. No because the manager is still in power he will always have the upper power because he is the manager. Also Moore knew what she was getting involved. 4. Who is liable' Katie Moore', Katie Moore's parents or Starbucks' Explain. I believe in this situation that everyone was liable. Katie had the right to say no if she respected herself enough even though she was 16 she was a young adult and was able to speak about she was able to put a stop to it but did not. Her parents also were at fault because it was their responsibility to teach their daughter between right and wrong. This was Katie’s eighth partner and only 16. Starbucks needed to train every employee if a situation like this occurs because none of this would have happen if she had not work at Starbuck.
