Abstract
In this paper is information on the meaning of the six branches of philosophy.
1. Metaphysics: This is about finding your inner self. Metaphysics is also related to all religions but in different means. There may not be that much of a difference between the physiological and spiritual world. Believing in God is a personal choice no madder the religion, all though in some you may be raised where religion is very important and you live by the rules of the lord. God is a wonderful way to spend time reading about and if you really pay attention you will learn that there are things in life that if you do badly it will come back at you in one form or another. Your soul is who you are, what you live by if you have a good soul you will do good and good will come back to you “(What comes around goes around)”. How the soul leaves outside the body is some by choice and some out of necessity. Meaning you may chose to give your soul to someone or it may leave you for protection if you are in trouble. The soul can stay alive as long as when the physical body dies your spiritual being leaves in its proper form. Everyone lives there lives differently some are free willed and some believe in fate. FINISH
2. Epistemology: This is a study on how to come to understand thinking and reasoning which is also done through experience. When it comes to atheist not believing in the word of God and theist who do, can cause conflict about epistemology and so when they are having a discussion on the subject they may talk over each other so to how they disagree about God. Atheist and theist have different ways of thinking when it comes to suitable facts and sensible way of life. (About.) Being faithful and having faith are very important in any relationship and God believes that it’s vital. Faith is trust that sometimes lacks confirmation, such as dreams, actuality or not anything. Reason and faith is a custom that one can find basis reason to believe in religion. (Faith and Reason) Artificial intelligences have been a whole new way for us to learn. Computers not only can awe learn from the technology that we have today; it also supplies big and small businesses the means to integrate with other systems to improve their everyday needs. They may use the system for keeping track of inventory, taking orders and many other important data that has to be kept track of. (Reference for Business) Every human has different limitations to understanding, some it can be the simplest things, and others may be able to understand nuclear science.
3. Ethics: The right thing to do can range from many things such as; deciding not to steal even in the toughest of circumstances, if you see someone in trouble you would want to help them as best as you can. The meaning of a good person is someone who receives pleasure from helping people just to help and no other reason. Happiness is a virtue because in order to receive happiness you must make virtuous alternatives. (Dr. Joel Wade) The end that justifies the means would be; a woman took her horse in the ring and started jumping the horse right away without worming up, what happens to the horse pulls a tendon and now he is lam and cannot be shown for months. No madder where you live you are not on seclusion so the people around you will have an effect on you, just like you on them. The proper moral and values are what is needed for society to do the right thing. (SocialMorality.org) Morality is based on a culturally accustomed response. Say you are having a discrepancy with someone and you are talking about if it is right or wrong to be judged on how much you spend on a horse for showing purposes. You pay $10,000 dollars for your horse and the other person only pays $1,000 dollars, the one who paid the $1,000 dollars is not allowed to attend certain shows do to the statist of her horse, now of course she disagrees with the rules and you believe that it is ok that there is no mixing of the high end horses and the low end horses. The two having the conversation are thinking that they are right and the other is wrong. (The Death of Morality)
4. Aesthetics: Beauty is everywhere; it is all around us, is the best time of the year you get to see all the beautiful flowers, tress even new born wild life or domestic animals come to life. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, for example; I find this old painting of a team of horses pulling a plow in the field and it’s from the 1950’s and not in the best of shape and I have got to have it, now you look at me in amazement why would I waste any money on that ugly thing. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Art has amazing purpose there are so many things that art is used for such as; Persuasive, Functional, Narrative, Artistic expression and Ceremonial uses. (Slideshare) Someone may be depressed and happen to see a piece of art that makes them feel good and they may get back into a better mood or if only for a moment or two it was there. It doesn’t madder if it’s a painting, car or horse it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If a buyer sees the perfect painting for themselves, it makes them feel like he was back home with his parents when he was younger, so he is willing to pay almost anything to get it. Beauty madders, unfortunately people are stereo typed. Even if someone looks good but they have tattoos and Piercings they are automatically looked down on. This very wrong but that is how a big part of society behaves. If you set up a big salt water fish tank and it has all the different color fish and their bright and beautiful and then you set up a small fresh water tank with a couple of gold fish, which tank are you going to stare at easy choice right.
5. Political philosophy: The best type of government to have seems to be democracy. But even democracy needs a few adjustments to make it better. Taking some of the good policies of the other laws and add them to democracy and also remove a few things from democracy, we might it get it almost right. The government has to have power in order to keep a majority of society in control and to keep people safe. We need laws in order to keep peace and many other reasons, but they don’t have to control everything just because they can. We created the government and we can take it away if we really wanted to. The one type of person you don’t want in power is someone who is narsatistic, short fuse and someone who doesn’t have their own life in order. Citizens have a number of ways to be connected with the government. Here are some ways that the citizens stay involved; Television, News paper, Internet, there are political parties and groups so interested parties can get together and discuss what’s going on. (American Government)
6. Social Philosophy: With all the people in this world you are going to see all kinds of behavior that is not appropriate and what is appropriate in public. The so called upper class behaves worse in public then someone without an education or an improper upbringing. (theguardian) If you are an American women and move to the Middle Eastern Countries you are forfeiting your rights to wear the cloths that you’re used to. Depending on where you live or you’re the laws and life styles you do have to give up some rights. When it comes to beliefs there are negotiators connecting cultural morals. When it comes to people in a crowd you be surprised, some will get all goofy, crazy, loud and even dance and then you have the people that will go sit at the table and wait for the friends to come to him. There are more ways to correspond with someone other than talk. You may have to use sign language to talk to a deaf person. Take a trip to a town or city that is of lower class and pay attention to how they talk and behave and do the same with higher class folks and then compare your notes. People tend to follow one another, which is how trends are started.
