I would like to gain the knowledge of how to draw up individual learning plans for my key children. Steps I intend to take to improve my knowledge and skills in relation to my practice I have discussed this with the playgroup leader and we have a arranged to attend a planning, assessing and evaluating workshop on 19th November 2010. I hope I will really benefit from this and be able to become more confident in this area. As my role as assistant leader I am expected to show new parents around the setting, and speak to other professionals concerning issues relating to children attending the setting. My aim would be to improve my self confidence and to be able to present my ideas more effectively. Steps I intend to take to improve my knowledge and skills in relation to my practice I have spoken to my leader and work collegues, who are all very supportive. We have discussed the weaknesses I think I may have. As part of the cluster training we attend as early years practitioners, I have been choosen to attend a "Leaders Day" course provided by our Early Years Team.
