SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
This chapter has an illustrative analysis of existing system and the proposed computerized system. Both systems have corresponding data flow diagram which logic method which is exemplified. The proposed computerized system contains the specification of the requirements and identities the possible users.
.THE EXISTING SYSTEM
Interviews and actual observation was conducts to gathered necessary data in developing the proposed system. Based on my observation and interview, the customer are choosing the products what they want, then they will say it to the clerk/employee of the company, The employee/clerk will assist them and compute the total price then issue a receipt. Lastly the customer will get his/her chosen products the release it. At the end of the month, the company conducts their inventory all products and listed in the record book. The clerks counts and records the stocks and give the lists to the manager for checking. The employee will now generated the written report in a ledger.
USERS OF THE SYSTEM
PRIMARY USER The primary user of the proposed system is the clerk or the employee who is entitled to enter transactions in a computer aided form.
SECONDARY USER
The secondary user is the proprietor because all transactions of the company.
ANALYSIS OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM
The proposed Computerized Sales and Inventory System of J. Dimaano Enterprises Product will lessen number of works like the time consuming in generating report, hard time in retrieving records and the slow processing in determining the incoming and outgoing products. To easy encodes the data and information in every details for the inventory.
THE PROPOSED SYSTEM
Based on the study conducted on the existing system, they proposed a computerized Sales and Inventory System that will greatly help the company eliminate some problems they are encountering in their existing system. The following procedures are formulated for the proposed system:
1. The customer will give the list of product to purchase, and then the clerk will now accept the checklist.
2. They will now search the list of product and encode the outgoing product.
3. They will now print a receipt to be given to customer.
