Throughout the world there are hundreds of different religions. These consist primarily of Abrahamic religions and the non-Abrahamic religions commonly referred to as “Eastern religions”. Derived from the Islamic term, Milat Ibrahim, meaning the path of Abraham, there are numerous religions that claim to be Abrahamic, yet three are more prominent than the others, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. While there are great differences amongst the three they all share in some very basic concepts. This paper will show that despite the many arguments amongst the the followers Judaism, Christianity, and Islam they all share common beliefs about Resurrection of the Dead and Final Judgment or Judgment Day... {text omitted}

Despite them all being “People of the Book”, there is little agreement upon which scriptures are the true word of God. Judaism's sacred text is called the Tanakh, which is said to be an acronym for subdivisions in which it is divided:: Torah, Nevi'im (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings) which consists of the books of the Old Testament which is believed to be the divine revelation and writings of the prophets. The sacred text of Christianity is also the Bible, but the Christian Bible includes the New Testament, entailing the life words, and working of Jesus, Son of God, as well as the prophets of God. The Qur'an (Koran) is the holy text of Islam...
Christianity teaches that it is through Jesus, the Son of God, that man finds salvation and that Jesus was crucified on the cross and died for the sins of man kind and was later resurrected. Islam rejects Christian ideology that Jesus was the son of God or God in the flesh, instead viewing him as one of God's true prophets who's message has been corrupted by translation...
There is much debate between the major Abrahamic religions and Eastern religions about what happens to a person after death. Yet, all Abrahamic religions agree that there will one day be a resurrection of the dead for judgment before God. While Judaism is focused more on moral living in this world, classical Judaism presumes there is an afterlife, and that in the “end of days” every soul will either be sent eternal paradise (Gan Eden) or be in eternal shame or hell (Gehinnom). Similarly Christianity and Islam also teach that every person will stand before God to have have his/her eternal fate of decided by either being rewarded with allowance into heaven, in which Islam believes there to be seven levels or punished with the eternal fires of hell. In this one aspect of all three faiths there is very little for followers to debate as all share parallel viewpoints...
In Judaism, there is the belief that there will be “The End of Days”. These days are mentioned numerous times in the Tanakh. Daniel xxii: 2-3 reads, “Many of those whose bodies lie dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting disgrace. Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever.”
In Christianity, the Book of Revelations tells of the Apocalypse as revealed to John. This book speaks of the second coming of Christ, Resurrection Day and a Last Judgment. This is believed, by Christians to be when all those who are not already in heaven or hell will have their fate decided. A description of the events to come are given in Matthew 25:31-33,41
“But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left....And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”
