We pride ourselves on being able to design and publish web pages for many different clienteles while keeping the price affordable to anyone looking to have a website designed. 1.2 - Business Goals LAD Web Design’s goal is to provide all consumers with fast and affordable web pages for corporate and private use while maintaining the pages for corporate clients for a nominal fee. For business use we offer competitive prices and submission of web sites to all major internet search engines as well as the use of private and secure servers. Private parties that wish to use our services are given a range of prices and choices to personalize their web pages, but are required to find their own server to publish their web sites. 2 – Project Introduction 2.1 - Project Goals and Training Needed The purpose of this request is to have our employees trained with the Microsoft Office 2010 programs, whose abilities range from first time users to long time users transitioning to from previous Microsoft Office packages. The training will consist mostly of the four major components of Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. We have recently hired 10 employees who are in need of training in these programs and our current employees would also benefit from a refresher course in Microsoft Office since it has evolved, and there are features that they might not know about. 2.2 - Time to complete project The performance period for this project will begin August 12, 2013 and will finish August 23, 2013. Each training class will be split into four groups of 10 employees. The first two groups will each be trained on one program per day Monday through Thursday, with the second set of groups receiving the training the following week. Each week Fridays will be used for questions and clarifications of the programs. A minimum of 2-3 of your employees on site for each day of the project is required.   2.3 – Project Budget A detailed budget must be submitted in Microsoft Excel format and show: • Itemized costs within a category (for example within the direct labor category, there must be a separate line in the budget for each trainer.); and • All formulas. The budget must include information about how the amounts for each estimated cost was determined.   3 - Administrative Information 3.1 – Qualifications The following qualifications are required of all trainers for this project. • Minimum of three years of professional experience with the project’s software. • Microsoft Office Specialist Certification. 3.2 – Proposal requirements and Deadline All proposals must be submitted to the company no later than 5pm CDT on August 2, 2013 as either a PDF or as a Microsoft Word document. Each proposal must include proposed budget, phone, e-mail, physical address, and person to contact if proposal is accepted. All proposals must include the following: • A detailed proposal of what exactly will be provided to LAD Web Design, including justification of the choices proposed. • A description of similar work performed by the proposer(s). • A list of qualified professional and technical personnel, including details of their relevant experience and relevant assignments in the past three years. 3.3 – Confidentiality All proposals from any company will not be disclosed to any other company that is submitting proposals or any other form of entity. Ellsworth, WI 54011-9020 3.5 - Vendor selection timeframe and Selection Criteria The evaluation of each response to this RFP will be based on its demonstrated competence, compliance, format, and organization. The purpose of this RFP is to identify those organizations that have the interest, capability, and financial strength to supply the services identified. The evaluation of cost will include a determination of cost realism, completeness, and reasonableness. Cost realism is the proposer’s ability to project costs which are realistic for the work to be performed and reflects a clear understanding of the requirements. LAD Web Design may award one or more contracts resulting from this RFP to the proposer(s) whose quotation(s) that conform to this RFP offers the greatest value.
