Decision of Uncertainty Decision to buy whole life or term life insurance In the year 2007, I had my first baby girl, during that time I had been laid off from my job, having a new baby meant that it was not time and watch the soaps, unless they where paying me to do to sit at home. During the first week that I was laid off I spend that time searching the classifieds and reading the local newspapers. The Bossier Voices had a article stating that a job fair would be coming to the Bossier City Civic Center. I knew that this would be a great opportunity for me to see a lot of local employers at the same time. That week, I prepared my resume and practice on my interview skills for the big event. The day of the job fair I met a lot of employer in the area that where hiring, only one sparked my interest the name of that company was Primerica. This was a company that stressed freedom to be your own boss and not having to relying someone else to control your future. Primerica not only stressed freedom, but also stressed you being an entrepreneur and the importance of having free time and a high quality of life to be able to spend more time with your family. The first thing that I was ask by the representative was if I had life insurance to help protect my family if something was to happen to me. My answer was a samful no. Trusting if this system works was going to be difficult form me how I wonder if I where coachable enough to work this great system that was already in place all I had to do is listen to my mentor and I would be on my way to financial wealth.' I knew that it would be a difficult decision. According to (Valt Salt 2003) Decision making a decision is the study of identifying and choosing alternatives based on the values and preferences of the decision maker. Making a decision implies that there are alternative choices to be considered, and in such a case we want not only to identify as many of these alternatives as possible but to choose the one that (1) has the highest probability of success or effectiveness and (2) best fits with our goals, desires, lifestyle, values, and so on. The uncertainty that this could work and help me to meet the needs of my family and also not drain my pockets in the process. In the world today many decisions are made on impulse. I did not want to make a life changing decisions that will impact the lives of there family without having enough information.
