REFLECTIVE TEACHING After having read the document “ TEACHER DEVELOPMENT” , I have noticed the importance to self-evaluated and self-observed during our daily teaching process. This document introduces teachers to useful techniques for exploring our own classroom experiences.The aim to develop a reflective approach to teaching is one in which we as teachers collect data about our own teaching; examine our attitudes, beliefs, and assumptions; and use the information we obtain as a basis for critical reflection on teaching practices, or in other words “ The purpose of reflective teaching is to engender good habits of thought ( Cruickshank 1984 ). When , we want to talk about REFLECTION, or you hear IT IS PRETTY IMPORTANT REFLECT ON WHAT YOU DID, it is not easy to come up with a lot a ideas, sometimes it is difficult to self-evalauted, we need others or external factors which can be suitable to understand and know if what we are doing is right or wrong, or to point out what the strenghts and the areas to improve. Sometimes, there is no time , to stop and reflect. We just continue applying a repertoire of teaching strategies that we draw on throughout our teaching.Or maybe, we are lack of knowledge about how to do a teaching reflection. Well, I have found many strategies to work on it. I would like to mention the five –minutes papers, formative teacher assessment surveys, students focus groups, retrospective field notes, formative feedback from peers are some of the tools that can help us reflect in our teaching process. It is good when you interview or ask questions to your students
