Choose one of the psychological disorders you read about in chapter 12 of the text. You must use three or more academically credible sources to research the disorder. Sources: 1. The textbook can be one of your sources. 2. Required: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM 5) (see how to access this source below). 3. Any academically credible website. Note: Sites such as Wikipedia, Yahoo Answers, About.com, etc. are not acceptable. Obtain your information only from authoritative sources. If you’re unsure about the suitability of a source, send me a message through your individual forum. Include a title on each slide to introduce the topic it covers. • Use the Power Point tools for added color and illustrations to make slides visually interesting. All fonts must be clear and easy to read. • Include your main points as bullet items on slides, and provide additional detail in speaker notes. To ensure slides are easy to read, limit yourself to about 5 bullet points. Be sure speaker notes are thorough and informative. • APA formatted in-text citations with correct details for all quoted or paraphrased information. These can be included either on your slides or in your speaker notes.
