There are so many things that can be viewed differently by two people. One thing I can think right of the top of my head is homosexuality. There are so many people against allowing them to legally be married but there are also many who believe it should be allowed. One way that I think about it is that love is love no matter race or gender. I believe that if it is okay for me to opening marry my husband, my best friend Juan, who is a homosexual, should also be allowed to openly get married legally. Now another view from various people would be to not allow it because it goes against their personal beliefs and religions. I can think of so many people who are for and who are against this matter and each person has something different to say about it. My parents do not necessarily like the way I see it as love is love but I strongly believe it. Many religions live by the Holy Bible and the “Adam and Eve” theory. With that being said, those are the ones who do not believe in legalizing gay marriages. Many would say that God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. There are so many people against it just because they do not understand or live the homosexual lifestyle. I may not be homosexual myself, but I do have many friends that are and I support them one hundred percent. I am a person who believes in God but I also believe in love and I don’t think God would allow homosexuality if it were wrong. This is a very deep conversation in my family because everyone has their own views on this subject in particular. Since I have a big family that is filled with very opinionated people, I see how differently minds can think about homosexuality. I very rarely watch the news but lately there has been a subject that has caught my eye. I noticed that the Military is debating on allowing homosexuals openly join the Military. The main thing that has caught my eye is that so many of those in the Military are saying that they don’t think it is a good idea. Now people are saying no because they don’t want to be seen with homosexuals which is a horrible reason because all homosexuals aren’t always checking everyone out. My personal view of the situation, I think we should allow any person, any gender or race, and any sexuality fight for our country if they chose to make that decision. Those in the Military are fighting for our freedom and I don’t think allowing homosexuals openly join will interfere with our freedom but give us more freedom to fight for. I believe that anyone should be allowed to fight for what they believe no matter who they love or what they prefer. I think that people would think differently about it if they actually took out the time to listen to those thoughts of those who are homosexual. If they could hear what comes from their hearts, others may be able to open up to a change and allow homosexuals have the same rights and benefits as those who are heterosexual. Of course to get them to listen, they would actually have to be in the Military and speak as whom they think are heterosexual. The Military has a “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy which allows homosexuals to join the Military without coming out into the open while they are enlisted. Now if they can join without being openly coming out, would it really be so much different if they joined openly homosexual'
