Success is the able to have charge in their own lives and be able to focus on their ability to balance work and their personal lives. To be a success in a career a person has to have knowledge, skills, and has to be goal oriented. An organization that helps to develop knowledge for the Web Development industry is World Organization of Webmasters it is a nonprofit association helps to supporting people and organizations that create or market websites. WOW is an organization that gives certification, employment, and member services to practicing web personnel with concern in knowledge and abilities in career success. A good part of the WOW website is that it supports a different variety of people and companies that allows practicing personnel, students and those who teach web topics on specific training that he or she needs to be successful in their career. The WOW website offers a diversity of different online courses, workshops, and conferences to exceed academically. WOW’s workshop brings together designers, entrepreneurs, VCs, marketing, product managers, and business strategists to build the next generation of websites and to enjoy a variety of networking activities. Web personnel need to stand out in the world and by doing so they can receive certification. WOW’s certification is a good opportunity for people to become Web professionals and to get certification; people have to gain education with traditional instruction with Education Alliance, online courses, and experience. WOW certification examinations are based on industries identified competencies in both general and specific areas of practice. With certification, a web professional can be identified by their skill associated with current demands types of small to large companies and to create curriculum and examinations based on the direct need of that individual through human resources managers, hiring managers, and web professionals worldwide. Certificate holders have technical components of a website, and he or she understand how a website can support the organization’s strategic business objectives. 3 In the technical area, skill sets include system configuration, communication protocols, performance criteria, operating systems, proxy servers, and web security. Web professionals who create, manage, and maintain content on the web are mission critical employees. A web professional that allows his or herself to be marketable has an opportunity to gain employment with this organization but not limited to Web Designer, Web Developer, Web Security, and Web Engineering jobs. They offer “full time” and “freelance” job opportunities. WOW also offers savings on their training. One example of this is the “Web Professional Education” it provides members savings on training programs. The professional knowledge and ability acquired from WOW can benefit an individual to increase income, to develop skills necessary to be aware of issues and to come up with solutions in the workforce, to differentiate his or herself and to keep up with changing technologies.
