The above rates are caused by factors which are uniquely defined by the religion group one belongs to. D) Literature review Literacy is the possessions of skills perceive as a necessary by particular person on group to fulfill their own self determined objective as a family. Historically religions have been dependant on literacy. However, no studies looked at religious motive as it relates to literacy level. According to 2006 UDHS, orphans are defined as children aged below age 18 or below age 15 with one or chronically ill parent or who lives in a household where an adult has been chronically ill or has died in the 12 months with preceding the survey According to 2006 UDHS 45 percent of Ugandan children under 18 in the household sampled for the UDHS surveyed were not living with both parents, this is a small increase over the corresponding figure of 42% found in 2000-2001UDHS. UDHS 2000-01 shows that 18% of the children were not living with either parent. According to 2006 UDHS, the ratio of current school attendance among orphans to that of non orphans age 10-14 calculated is 0.96 and this figure correspond to UNICEF-orphan and vulnerable children core indicator 6, UN AIDS health and social impact indicator 5 and the UNGASS knowledge and behavior indicator 12 E) From the table, using the row percentage 84.26% belong to bahai religion and are literate with 17.32% illiterates. From the table, it’s analyzed that the traditions have the highest percentage of illiterate with 94.81 but with few literate of 5.19% followed by none with 82.20% and 17.80 illiterates and literates respectively.
