Values and Ethics are important to build the reputation of the business and to avoid the high turnover of employees in today’s global business world. Many organizations that lacked such practices inevitably caused the disorder amongst employees and within the industry. Ethics can be defined as may be defined as a moral responsibility of what is right. As the famous phrase say "Do unto others as you would have done to you." Similar to personal ethics, organizations and employers usually create a set of standards and procedures derived from the vision and the offerings for various stakeholders. In many businesses, having ethics is frowned upon or thought of as a negative subject. This is because business is usually about doing what's best for number one, not about what's really the right thing to do. In order for any level stakeholder to invest interest such as valuable time, efforts, and money, a common interest must be apparent. When Stakeholders such as employees share the same core values and ethical standards, beliefs, it promotes healthier work environments, dependability and perhaps even a sense of ownership and belonging. The results from Williams Institute of Ethics Awareness Inventory were nearer to Obligation and least close to Character perspectives. I base my ethical perspectives on individual duty and obligation to do what is morally right. It means that instead of concentrating on the results, I would rather look at the intentions and what steps were taken to get to the results. I believe what path we choose to get desirable results is critical. Reaching outcomes can be done many ways, ethically and unethically, but we need to follow rules and regulations in accordance to principles. Outcomes are not significant unless they are accomplished using the true intention. My ethical method is to give respect and take respect to each and every individual in the society. I believe that individuals should be given the right to voice their opinions and make decisions. However obligation oriented approach can cause certain tribulations as well. Being clearly individualistic and independent creates frictions in the team or with the management. Moreover, a belief that people have a moral obligation to do the “right” thing leaves a little room for compromise. Kudler Fine Foods values focus on a specific stakeholder, the Consumer which is providing ultimate freshness and quality of foods, products and services, guaranteeing freshness and satisfaction. Kudler Fine Foods appears to be an aspiring organization beginning to branch into perhaps something bigger such as a chain store, however, discrepancies throughout would prevent employment within the Management sector. Within the confines of any business organization that one must be able to be fair and practical with the issues that surface. That would mean that an individual would have to be aware of its surroundings and the circumstances that encompass each issue. In other words, an individual would have to be willing to listen to all sides of the concerns or issues. Compare all possible alternative solutions to make a decisive decision. Research reflects that there are companies in this economy that are failing to pay attention to the ethics of employee/employers relationships.
