  Abstract The Williams Institute Ethics Awareness Inventory self-assessment provide a better understanding of personal values and how to make decisions based on ethical views. Kudler Fine Foods appears to be a company of high character. Personal Values Paper The Williams Institute Ethics Awareness Inventory self-assessment provide a better understanding of personal values and how to make decisions based on ethical views. After completing the Williams Institute Ethics Awareness Inventory (2011), I considered the inventory and preformed a self-assessment of my values. My results from the Williams Institute Ethics Awareness Inventory were very high scoring in the character perspective and very low in the equity and results perspective areas. Kudler Fine Foods appears to be a company of high character. The social responsibility statement states: Kudler Fine Foods uses only the finest organic ingredients. Whenever possible, we purchase local produce from organic farmers. We use unbleached flour in our bakery goods and we don’t add unnecessary preservatives to our products. Food is rotated from the shelves on an ongoing basis. Those items that are still in “good” condition are donated to local homeless shelters and food kitchens (Kudler 2003). This statement show there is also shows there is the value of being result driven and the Kudler Fine Foods Company has a sense of obligation to the community, this can be seen by the donations of food being donated to the homeless and the food kitchen most store would have thrown the unused food into the garbage. Kudler Fine Foods wants to provide their customers with the fines selections of food and wine as stated in its’ mission statement: Kudler Fine Foods is committed to providing our customers with the finest selection of the very best foods and wines so that your culinary visions can come true (Kudler 2003). Each department has a slogan that supports the company’s mission statement; the bakery slogan stated if you are not satisfied it free; the meat department will handle any special request; the produce will special any item not found in the store and the wine and cheese section offer quality selection of their product. Kudler Fine Foods is a very customer oriented and the employees are encouraged to be friendly and helpful to customers, and the store has a great representation in the neighborhood. The one thing Kudler Fine Food can do to improve the establishment is to create management team and Kathy should give some of the responsibility of managing the day-to-day operation of the store to her management team once created. Kathy should also establish a LLC for the store to protect her in the event of bankruptcy or a lawsuit.
