Pit, pat, pit, pat, pit, pit, pat," is the sound of rain that Melissa hears from the window in her room. She looks at James town for her last time. The Tragedies family was moving to a town called Woodsville because of a job promotion there. No one wanted to go but they had no choice. The Tragedies include mom Lilly, dad Brysten, eldest son eighteen yr. old son James, second daughter sixteen yr. old Kelly, and youngest daughter 5 yr. old Melissa. As they get ready to leave, the kids all say good bye to their old house and depart to their new house an old funeral home renovated into a house. They all arrive at their new home, when the kids stepped out of the car they stood in shock. Their faces looked disgusted by their new home. With a confused look on her face Kelly says, “Are you sure we are at the right house'” “No, I am pretty sure we got the right house it’s just that we expected more,” James says with more of a positive look on his face. “Alright come on guys, it’s not that bad lets go check the house inside, no one is aloud in the backyard it’s not safe,” says dad. They all go inside, all but Melissa she decides to check out the back of the house. She goes to the back and sees a shiny old sliver red rectangular chest with the initials of D. D. N. O. It looked someone else wrote this as a warning, but you know little kids she opens it and finds that the inside was filled with blood and sees the head of a forty year old man. Melissa shrieks, gets up and runs as fast as she can back to her parents. She makes sure she doesn’t tell anyone what happens and tries to hold in her fears as she unpacks her things into her room. Not knowing that the demon is going to attack her, she goes in the basement to get some rope for her dad to fix the roof. As she walks down the steps, she feels breathing behind her. All of a sudden she falls down the stairs and is hurt. Melissa’s family heard the big fall and came to see, they rush severely injured Melissa to the hospital and the whole family is very worried. Melissa lies in observation for the rest of the night and Lilly, her mom stays with her and the rest of the family went home for the night. Dad, James and Kelly got home and saw lights flickering in the house. Dad runs in to see what’s going on so do James and Kelly and the door slams behind them, now they are frightened they don’t know what’s going on. They all stand still not knowing what to do the lights were still flickering and they heard moaning and evil laughs. Dad saw his kids scared to death and ran into the door with a chair and the door flung open. They all return to the hospital and spend the night there. When they get to the hospital they tell Melissa and mom what happened. The whole family suspected that there was a demon in their home. That’s when Melissa told her story, the family was disappointed in her but then again she’s only five years old so they forgave her. Now the tragedies family had to find a way to get rid of that demon. They all stay at relatives for the night because they were too scared to go back. At about six in the morning James gets up and reads the newspaper, it had an ad that said, “Paranormal investigator: HAVE A SUPERNATRUAL'” James goes and wakes up dad and tells him the number on the advertisement. Dad says in a surprised look,” Call them NOW.” James picks up the phone as fast as lightning and calls the paranormal investigators. They talk for a little while, when they finished talking James said with a relieved look on his face,” They’ll be right over.” It’s 6:00 pm and the paranormal investigators arrive, their names were Jennet and Bill. The Tragedies family tells their experience at their new house and how it happened. Jennet asks with a puzzled look, “Have you recently renovated the funeral home'” Brysten answers, “Yes we have renovated the home.” Bill says with a terrified look on his face, “You have awakened a spirit and it is not a nice one, quick we need to go to your home.” They left the Tragedies relatives house, and they arrive at the funeral home. They all step inside, right when they do Jennet feels a really powerful spirit and she is terrified for the family. She says terrified,” Lets leave and you need to bless your house as soon as possible.” They all leave without their things and go to a hotel and stay there till Jennet and Bill could find a priest to bless their house and to drive the spirit away. Finally, Jennet and Bill find a priest; the priest agrees to bless their house at six. It’s finally six o’clock, the priest arrives at the funeral home and he gets his things out to bless the home. The priest starts and there’s wind blowing inside the house. The demon is angry, but the priest continues. There were people being thrown onto the wall and things were flying everywhere. This goes on for about two hours, but eventually the priest won the battle. The Tragedies have their home back and they shout for joy. But they are way too scared to stay at the house so they move back to Jamestown. Even after a couple of months back to their old house they think that the demon followed them. No one knows what their future holds for them…………… The Tragedies are in their new house now, as they grow back into their daily routines they find out that the demon is following them. But not as powerful, the demon works its way into Melissa and starts to control her. She becomes evil and sadly passes away by trying to bless her demon dies with her. What a tragedy for the Tragedies. Soon they are too scared to live in America and move across the country .No one hears from them again. No one knows where they are or even if they are alive.
