Jesus would do the same thing’ * Maria ( an old lady) “ If I only had one tortilla I would give half away because she knows that god will give her more” * 44% unemployment in Hondures * If you are over 28 years old –unable to get a job * When kids cry from hunger women would give a glass full of water with a little bit of sugar and a tsp. of tortilla dough so fill the hunger for her children * Enrique’s home town ended up working in a giant dump . * Youngest -6yrs old * 12000 miles , 122days , 8 tries later Enrique tried to get over the border * Sonia’s goal was to humanize immigrants * Enrique’s mother does jobs that most Americans would not at or below min. wage * 1and 4 construction works are immigrants * Because the immigrants come here poor , they pay 1/3 of the taxes Americans do * Immigrant kids say to their mom “ dogs don’t even leave their own litter “ * She wants to lessen the immigration migration * 5billion dollars to protect the border * Fewer than a quarter go back to their home * 300 million immigrants were able to get citizentionship * Help create 3-4 jobs over in countries * Micro Lone – mostly go to the women to start up small business * Educated women usually put off to having kids =good!!!
