Chapter 11 After many weeks Napoleons leadership was very much the same, however, it went worse as time passed. The animals were starved and were made to work day and night. The animals became more and more infuriated by the behaviour of Napoleon who just sat in the big barn with the farmers drinking all day while the rest of the animals were made to work to their bone. The seven commandments were all broken by Napoleon on a daily basis; it was as if the rebellion was forgotten. The next morning Napoleon announced EVEN MORE CHANGES, and said “Manor Farms name will now be changed into Napoleons Farm from today, it is know as this. Nobody is allowed to say Manor Farm, ever and no animal is allowed to enter the big barn, and the surrounding areas with out permission, if any animals are caught in this action will be punished immediately. ‘’The sheep chanted “LONG LIVE NAPOLEON FARM” this went on for several minutes and put an end to the discussion. And Napoleon left the farm house with a beaming smile and to the sound of the chanting sheep. Leaving the animals overwhelmed with the misery to learn that their farm that their farm that they all had pinned their hopes and dreams on was now become controlled by a tyrant, and everything they had worked for had now changed from and up to the name of the farm, they were second class animals in their own farm and that fact enraged them. Clover was extremely vexed and broke the gloomy silence in a booming voice, “When we are staving, he is at leisure… when we are working he is sleeping and when we try to work all he would do is whip us and he expects us to do as he demands”. The animals all nodded their heads in depression. Squealer overheard Clover and came over to the group of animals. And screeched in an irritated and angry mood, “How dare you say that about your leader!!! He has done so much for you, you miserable Donkey. Indeed Mr Napoleon is too busy to talk to trash as you, but if you dare say one more thing against Mr Napoleon ill have you killed by the dogs” and Clover replied as she giggled “I’m not nervous or concerned about the dogs”. Squealer replied with a sarcastic laugh “Oh so you’re not scared are you, bring the dogs to me” and gave a mean look at Clover and clapped his hands. The dogs came in to the dark dusty farm house; the dogs had a very mean look on them, which made all the other animals take a few steps back, all of the animals moved back except Clover. The dogs drooled and bared their big sharp teeth. And they slowly stepped closer to Clover. As Squealer laughed in excitement and said “Now say something against Mr Napoleon! C’mon donkey! I dare you!” Still laughing and watching Clover with beady eyes. Clover smiled and said in a teasing manner, “Do you think these little puppies are a match for me' Oh squealeeee you’re so dim” and the animals started to laugh. At that moment Squealer, Squealer in outrage. And shouted at the dogs to attack Clover. The dogs barked loudly, and the other animal began to run for cover. Clover picked up a hitch fork and went charging at the dogs. With one great swoop, Clover whacked one of the dogs with the head of the pitch fork. And the dog fell to the floor, middle of a leap. Squealer was watching in core and while staring at the limp body of that huge dog, he was slowly stepping backwards towards the door. The other two dogs stopped barking as they saw the dog man ran to the door and ran away. As the other animals cheered and laughed. The animals slowly drifted to sleep, however, Clover, Benjamin and Moses stayed up discussing what should be done to regain the farm that they once had in their control. Benjamin had an idea, an idea to regain the farm . Benjamin said in a whisper “I found this drug in Mr Pilkington’s pocket, which I think he used to kill someone.” Moses and Clover gasped softly. And Benjamin went on saying “That’s why one of you is going to the barn tomorrow, and going to put these pills inside the drink” Clover and Moses nodded, and then Moses went along with this plan. Next morning everything was normal, everyone turned up to work as usual, and Moses told Clover that he will be the one to sneak into the barn, and put the pills in the bottle of wine, that was near to Napoleon chair. Clover and Benjamin agreed and Moses had done as plan when the barn was empty. The plan was ready for action; all that was needed was night to fall, and the farmers and Napoleon to drink, as they did every night. Squealer a argent meeting the next morning “Napoleon is very ill he is going to the hospital, so for now I will be in charge” After hearing this speech Benjamin said very quietly “The plan of Napoleon has been successful” The night before Benjamin sneaked in to the barn to check if the bottle Moses had put the pill into had been drank or not,. And found everyone fast asleep, and Napoleon unconscious and on the table were Napoleon was sleeping, he found a paper which had Snowballs address on it. Later on that day Benjamin called Clover and Moses once again and whispered the plan of Napoleon has been successful, now its time to look for Snowball, when everybody’s asleep “I went to the barn yesterday night and found Snowballs farm address, and what I want is to go to that farm and get Snowball back, so we can defeat Napoleon and get our farm back the way we want it” Clover added “When shall we go, if we go at night he’ll most likely to be asleep.” Benjamin relied “Okay then we’ll go in the afternoon tomorrow, when everyone is working then we’ll sneak out”. Next day came Clover, Benjamin And Moses were all ready for their plan. Then suddenly, a big black van entered the farm, all the animals were astonished to see a van coming to the farm, it stop at the gate two big strong men cam barging in, and both of the men shut the two doors and walked to the back door and opened it and walked out Napoleon looking all vicious and brutal than ever, then he walked to the farm, said gladly with a big grin “I’m back” all the animals gasped in shock horror. The pigs were heading to the barn, and those two men were locking the big van, And they were just about to lock the two back doors, until suddenly Benjamin went storming into the two men, and they fell over, Clover and Moses jumped into the two front seats and drove off, meanwhile Benjamin jumped into the back through the back doors. The animals laughed as the two big men got up and started shouting after them, “What was that,” they shouted after as the shock their fists in the air. And Clover said to Moses “Where’s the address of Snowballs farm'” Moses replied “In my pocket, Benjamin you alright in there, Benjamin replied yeah I’m good thanks” and then Moses gave the address to Clover. And then out of luck they found a map, and Clover directed the way. They all just reached the farm, saw Snowball sweeping the floor. They ran to him who saw them and he was shocked, they told Snowball and told him to come, ran back to the van, with Snowball. And drove back to the farm, they drove as fast as they could, reach the farm, broke the gates using the van. And they started to hunk the horn repeatedly to get the pigs out the barn. They drove right to the pigs, as they all ran and squealer and the other pigs Clover found at the back of the van a tool boxes which contained knives, saws, hammers etc, Clover began to throw knives ,and hammers, and saws at the pigs, some of which injured the and some died, and chopped their hands off and legs. They drove faster and faster trying to take every human and pig. They drove into the big barn, where napoleon and MrPilkington were having a meeting, they drove after Napoleon who was running and screaming in terror. Mr Pilkington had a shot gun and shot one of the tires of the van the back door opened and tried having a shot at Clover and Snowball put instead he shot the two large bottles of the petrol. Petrol exploded instantly killing Snowball, Benjamin, Moses, and Clover, The barn lit on firer and killed Napoleon and Mr Pilkington in the barn. The animals cried out screaming in terror and shocked at the barn. The next day the animals mourned the death of the four heroes that lost their lives for their dream farm. The all reinstated seven commandments and lived their lives in harmony together. However, there was always a tear in the animal farm, eyes of heroes of animal farm.
