Sentence: We all have endocardium that lines the heart inside our body.
Vasoconstriction Vas/o Vas/o-constrict/o-ion (VAY-soh-con-STRIK-shun) -ion When the smooth muscle contracts, the lumen of the artery decreases in size and the blood pressure increases.
Sentence: The lumen artery causes a decrease of size and increases our blood pressure.
