Person holding a Master’s Degree will have a better chance of getting a job that best suits him and his abilities. Sometimes in life it is important to do something that you enjoy, which will not only give satisfaction but help you perform well. I consider Master’s degree as a very formal form of education, which can make me very confident. Education is one of the most important tools that can help you succeed during the time of recession. It has been proven since long that people with higher education are more prone to survive recession. Master’s Degree is a tool that ensures or maximizes job security which is life sustaining for people during recession. It is a great opportunity to be able to learn from different people and an opportunity to broaden our perspective by giving meaning and quality to life. The reason to build a career for enhancing life is a very justifying reason to spend time and effort for higher education. It is a great tool to better yourself and understand your strengths and weaknesses and use it to yours and organizational advantage. Person with higher education is more likely to be involved in political activities and have knowledge about government and likely to vote. They are more likely to keep themselves updated by use of different media like newspaper, television, radio and internet. Due to the exposure to different media and the knowledge that they obtain make them more likely to be moral leaders. They are also most likely to have children who will set high educational goals. People with higher education are more likely to be health conscious and less likely to turn towards smoking and drugs. Based on the results of my Jungian 16-Type personality profile and work experience that I have gained during these past eight years, I would say that I have a very career conscious person, who takes education and career very seriously. I partially agree with my Jungian 16-type personality profile that I am reserved, but I have proven to get actively involved when situation demands. Even though I have a reserved personality my superior and subordinates never feel hesitant to approach me. As I have been involved in sales as well as marketing, I was able to come up with fresh ideas to increase sales through innovative marketing tools. I have been taking initiative to execute these new ideas in appropriate manner. I have always tried to take advantage of any continuing education opportunities available at my workplace. This has not only helped me in developing very valuable attributes for success at work but also increased my willingness to pursue a formal education in the form of a Master’s Degree.
