She could becomes nausea start have G.I. discomfort and even go into cardiac arrest. o What is causing Ms. Jones’s kidney disease' Mrs. Jones just underwent a major surgery which reduced the blood flow to her kidneys and sent her body into surgical shock. o What are possible treatment options and prognosis' Restore blood volume and treat her for any type of infection and send her dialysis while restricting her fluid intake her condition should get better. o Why is the condition of Mr. Hodges’s kidneys affecting the rest of his body' Your kidneys help regulate you body’s water and remove toxins from the blood. If your kidney can no longer do this then the toxins begin to build thus causing you to become ill. The will be too much potassium in your blood which eventually leads to heart problems. Too much fluid buildup which will cause acute swelling. High blood pressure due to fluid buildup and the list goes on and on. o As his chronic renal failure worsens what other symptoms and signs might occur in his respiratory, digestive, nervous, and urinary systems' Mr. Hodges may start to suffer from nausea, vomiting and problems with vision. He could have drowsiness, breath odor or problems sleeping at night.
