Why is There so much uncertainty Concerning The Assassination of JFK' The outline of the assassination Friday the 22nd November, President Kennedy was shot and later died in hospital on the 23rd November after gunshots were fired at his motorcade in Dealey plaza, Dallas. There were many eye witnesses. Shortly after a police officer was shot and killed. A man, Oswald, was arrested in a cinema and accused of murdering the officer and the president. Oswald was shortly shot afterwards. Movements of Lee Harvey Oswald On the 24th November approx 2:30-3:30 am Dallas police receive phone calls threatening the life of Lee Harvey Oswald. At approx 11:00 am the Armoured truck in which Lee Harvey Oswald was to transported in arrived at the Dallas Police headquarters. At approx 11:20 Jack Ruby shoots lee Harvey Oswald in the basement area of the Dallas Police Headquarters. At approx 11:28 Oswald was brought in at Parkland Memorial Hospital. At approx 1:07 pm November 24th Oswald was pronounced dead. Jack Ruby’s Involvement Many people think there is an assassination conspiracy just because of Jack Ruby. They accuse him of silencing the accused assassin (Oswald). Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald in the basement as he was about to be transported. It looks like Ruby did this deliberately so the people of the USA could never know the truth although we cannot prove anything. Warren commission weaknesses In the warren commission there are many weaknesses such as: the wounds, the ability for Oswald to do the shooting, the bullet, the rifle, the witnesses and the zapruder film. The wounds on the president seemed inconsistent with the one bullet that the film suggests killed JFK. In the warren commission they explained this with the magic bullet theory. This is possible but very unlikely. Oswald, according to the warren commission fired 3 aimed shots in 5.6 seconds from the book depository in front of trees. Also Oswald was not a fantastic marksman and he somehow managed to aim three aimed shots, 1 killing the president. Not even the best marksman in the world managed to do this. Eye witnesses say they also heard more than 3 shots thus making is think there were more than 1 marksman. When the bullet was found it was found in pristine condition next to JFK. If the bullet had have been fired and hit it would have crumpled on impact. Furthermore the rifle was not a good one and could not have fired 3 bullets in 5.6 seconds. Moreover, witnesses near the grassy knoll said that the bullets was fired from there and there were more than 3 shots fired. In the film you see the president head go back and to the left. This is odd as the warren report says Oswald shot JFK in the depository behind him. The Statements of Witnesses In the statements given by various witnesses some say shots were heard from the depository like the warren commission says but others say from the grassy knoll. 1 witness (Jean Hill) says she saw smoke from near the knoll and she saw a man shooting. Another witness (Carolyn Walther) said “I’m sure I heard 4 shots” whereas the warren commission says only 3 shots were fired in 5.6 seconds. S.M. Holland says the same sort of thing as Jean Hill totally contradicting the warren report. We are not sure who to believe and it is hard to tell. Other Witnesses and Motives The FBI and the CIA, Mafia and the Anti-Castro Cubans all wanted JFK dead. They wanted him dead because they saw him as a weak figure against communism. Richard Nixon also is a suspect as he is a Hard-line military leader. They all thought he was too weak also on the Vietnam War and blamed him for the goings wrong. If you fit the pieces together and look at it, it makes sense that there is some lying involved, with witnesses saying there was more than 3 shots and there are more suspects all wanting him dead you start to think there was more than 1 marksman especially when there are eye witnesses say so. The autopsy The autopsy on JFK wasn’t done by professionals it was done by the military. The wounds did not seem consistent when according to the warren report there was only one shot. Also, during the autopsy the brain was taken out and weighed. A third of the brain had been blown out. After the autopsy the brain somehow got lost and was never found. After the shooting the motor car which the president was shot in was taken straight for a wash and cleaned. Somebody must have given the orders for this to happen because they knew it would tell a lot of the story of the assassination of JFK. My opinion In my opinion there are too many coincidences for there not to be a conspiracy. The fact that the motorcade actually slowed down as the shots were fired was really strange. Someone must have given the orders for it to do that. The autopsy was not carried out correctly and Oswald, in my opinion, could not have killed the president. The Golden bullet theory is for me unbelievable. Eye witnesses contradict the warren commission and say there were more than 3 shots from the grassy knoll area suggesting more than one marksman. We are not sure who shot the president as many shots were heard and many people had motives to shoot him. We cannot believe what the American Government said as there warren commission had too many gaps in floor. Also the way Oswald was shot makes it seem there is a cover up so no one will find out the truth. Also the area around were the president was shot was not safe at all. Buildings were not secured and there was no military on the route leaving the president wide open to be shot. Why was there no troops there the security was shocking and was not fully explained. I cannot believe the warren commission and believe the conspiracy. Also we can prove that Oswald did the shooting making us uncertain on who the murderer was.
