The most common, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems such as Oracle, SAP, and PeopleSoft have been widely used in recent years, as an evolutionary process in large and small businesses. In accounting and finance Oracle has the process of reducing time and money through its projects application. This can be best described as calculating the {draw:frame} costs and revenues,;) {draw:frame} {draw:frame} translates them to;) {draw:frame} {draw:frame} chart of accounts, and;) {draw:frame} {draw:frame} automatically posts journal entries to;) {draw:frame} {draw:frame} general ledger.;) {draw:frame} Oracle can also be used in human resources as it organizes information on the actual business group, such as job title definitions, you can enter employees and their assignments and keep track of {draw:frame} date effective assignments over time, and;) {draw:frame} {draw:frame} supervisors and billing titles.(;) {draw:frame} Crkon 2006) SAP (System Analysis and Program Development) has been beneficial in accounting and financing by taking a project or group of projects, using a standardized template for standard cost reporting so that it eliminates spreadsheets used for reporting costs and commitments. SAP runs on the basis much like Oracle and the process in reducing the amount of time it takes in calculating business costs. The advantages of SAP for resource management are that it helps the owner in prioritizing the workload. It can determine the amount of hours it will take to complete a project by reviewing the list of projects assigned and forecast hour’s required to complete a project. (Poettcker 2009) The PeopleSoft solution has the ability to combine {draw:frame} outsourcing services with computing and application management capabilities.;) {draw:frame} Employees are added quickly with this application, and the company is able to track pay and benefits while calculating deductions in payroll. When it comes to other PeopleSoft solutions, it is a fast track program that’s computing time cuts costs when compared to other implementations.
