HOMELESSNESS One of the main goals of every government is to solve the homeless, which has appeared in the development of human society and is hard to eliminate. What is homelessness' What are the reasons of it' Homelessness is a serious social problem. It might be defined as a group of people in society who are too poor to have housing, food, clothe, education, and other essential needs of life. Despite the fact that, most governments carry out many ways to deal with this essential problem, the advantage of homelessness is raising. For example, the unemployment rate in Canada rose from 4% to 8.4% in June 2009. According to the statement of Tarczynski (2009) the system of our society has been increasing the income distribution gap between the rich and the poor. With today’s recession, there will be more people have become jobless, homeless and live a low-quality life. It is obvious to find the prime reasons for homelessness. Although the economic crises still hit the business sector around the world private companies should keep the employees in their jobs because cut down job will increase the homeless. Unfairly treatment from companies is the most important reason for homelessness. Thousands of workers are treated unfairly by their companies because their employers want to get more benefit. For example, when most of companies can not cover all their costs, they usually fire a great number of workers to cut down expenses and avoid going bankrupt. Nevertheless, this is not the perfect way to solve their problem, but it is the most simple and easiest method. That makes a great deal of people loss their jobs and incomes for their lives. Then they can not afford anything which is basic for their lives without money and join the group of poor people. In addition, compared to present inflation, some companies do not raise their workers’ salary enough. Companies want to gain more benefit and enhance their market competitiveness. That leads to the degrading of many people’s lives. Some of them even have to get help from Comprehensive Society Assistance, which is an important social charity for helping poor people. Every leader of government brings out their policy in order to solve joblessness, because society doesn’t have enough recognition for the homeless. Tarczynski (2009) said, That is been a side that’s interesting because the media normally present jobless and homeless people as negatives and they now present them as positives.” So jobless was disregard in society. It is true that private companies looking for profit and only profit and, the opposite in public organizations are made for serving people without looking for profit. However, when the economy becomes worse and worse, companies do not have enough money to employ or keep people them to work for them. If companies keep their employees work without making profits this will lead to the bankruptcy and close these companies. In this case government should help those companies by lend them loans without interest for long terms to keep them on the track. Moreover, the government can cover part of expenses for these companies by paying utilities bills or reduce the rent amount if they rent from the government (Koch.2009). With this step even if the economy is being in depression people cannot lose their jobs. Moreover, if these companies keep the employees with low salaries it will not prevent homelessness it might increase it because they will feel they are machines not human by giving them money and keep them silent, this will lead to increase homelessness in each society. To ask for the help from the government is not long-term solution to stop the homeless. This problem made by companies them selves and should fix by them to. If the companies do not agree to keep the employees on work they can decrease their salaries. However, they should cover housing or transportation section at least for low-level workers. Covering housing section it can be by build private apartments for each company and allow the employee using it tell leave the company (Dotinga.2006). This will increase the loyalty for the company and encourage the employee to work harder. Moreover, people can not only blame the governments and leave everything on them, companies should be responsible to stop homelessness in each society. In conclusion, homelessness is the primary problem in any society and bring about bulk of other problems to people’s lives. Even though, the reason for this problem is diversified and complicated because of unequal treatment on workers and employees. Make the government responsible for this problem is not the perfect solution. Therefore, private companies should keep people on work even if the economic go downturn to stop the homeless.
