In recent years, Malaysians have become more and more vocal regarding what they need especially the kind of education system they think they deserve. The flip flop policies for education such as the medium of instruction in teaching mathematics and Science have caused some parents to choose an alternative education system for their children which is homeschooling. Do this trend indicate that our school system failed to educate our young generations' No ,if we think further, students who study in school are undoubtedly more excellent all-sidedly than students who undergo homeschooling in due to several reasons. Students who study in school are considered as more outstanding because they receive more systematic education provided by professional educator. In general, school students are bonded to their timetable to have classes in school. It is not a canny idea for the school student to play truant because they may miss the teaching on that particular day. Therefore, when following the timetable, school students learn to be more discipline. On the other hand, guidance from dedicated teacher in the classes ensure the learning process leading to an accomplishment for the students. Since the teachers in the school are trained, students can always refer to their teachers because they are more resourceful regarding the latest format or syllabus of learning. Other than that, school students also have the opportunities to enroll in co-coriculum, making them well prepared when encounter with any circumstances in life. In other words, school students are taught to solve problems outside the classroom such as conducting an activity or setting up a camp. Moreover ,sports activities like badminton, basketball and wall climbing encourage school students to live a healthy lifestyle by involving in these activities. Obviously, student who is balanced in both academic and co-curiculum posses healthier body and broader mind when compared to a bookworm. In addition, study in school is one of the means to improve the communication skills of the students. Students in school are more socialize because they mingle with other students everyday. . In daily life, especially in interpersonal conversation, communication breakdown often causes misunderstanding and misconception among people. Furthermore, students of all kinds of races, cultures and religious are grouped together in a school. In order to avoid misunderstanding and prejudice among the students, they have to communicate and know each other more. As a result, school students are indirectly educate to be a good speaker in conveying their ideas. Some people will opt to let their children to undergo homeschooling thinking that the flexibility of time and syllabus will reduce the study stress as they can learn in their own time and study at their own pace and place in effort to achive efficient gaining of knowledge without tension. However, we have to aware about the impact arising from this offer of unlimited freedom in education. The situation deteriorate when we are talking about young students who are not matured enough to control themselves from all the others temptation that can be easily found around them. If the students do not have strong discipline ,the idea of efficient learning without tension is meaningless and is going to face failure. In conclusion, students who obtain their knowledges from school are better than home scholar in overall aspect. This is because of the organized system with complement of dedicated educators, students’ involvement in co-curriculum and indirect improvement of students’ communication skills which help the students to crope better in their future. Over 54 years of development in education system, our school system have trained a great deal of excellent elite students. These refulgent records should encourage the government and the nations to work together and bring advancement to our traditional school system.
