My Life and Fitness
Fitness and nutrition are two important factors that some people tend not to incorporate in their lifestyle. Maintaining good exercise and eating habits can extend the longevity of your life. Obesity and other health risk can be avoided by practicing healthy habits. As I am growing older I have had to change my eating habits to accommodate the needs for an older woman. I am currently trying new eating and exercising habits with a plan to help me reach my goal. I believe I can make my goals a reality because I have three new fitness and nutritional habit to be introduced into my daily life. Each habit will benefit my health in a different way. Every small step has a reward to help me stay on track with my new found program for a better life.
I am currently a member at 24 hour fitness. This gym is close to my house and is in my budget it also comes with a trainer that has help me develop a great workout plan for me. I love to eat all types of food so now as I am older I am watching my intake of unhealthy foods as well as taking vitamins. There are so many risks associated with obesity such as high blood pressure, chances of developing certain cancers, gout is collection of uric acid crystal on the joints, type 2 diabetes which controls your blood sugar and breathing problems just to name a few.
I am adding new habits of fitness to improve my overall health. One is eating healthier by cutting down on fast food and junk food. Not only am I saving money I am extending my life here on earth. Exercise requires a lot of water intake so I have cut out sodas and high sugar drinks. Consistency with my work out is a major step toward completing the goals I have set for myself. Having consistency will help to develop a routine for incorporating the gym into my daily life. Lastly using the right equipment will help prevent injuries and target the right areas that I want to see improvement on. Also using different equipment will help to relive boredom with the work out. My new fitness habit will help improve my health and achieve my goals for a better life. Working out will help to increase your physical condition but can not be done alone nutrition plays a big part in improving your health as well. I have incorporated three nutritional habits in to my routine to help obtain my goal for a healthier body. One is taking vitamins they will help cover my intake of food I do not like to eat such as milk. Calcium is needed for bones so I am coved with my vitamins which will decrease the likeliness of developing osteoporosis. Reducing trans fat and saturated fat in my diet. Baking food verses frying and eating less red meat such as hamburger and steaks. Concentrating on my food pyramid to make sure I am receiving everything I need to help prevent certain diseases and cancers. The chart is on the refrigerator to remind myself about the importance of healthy food and exercise everyday. You may still enjoy sweets but just limit them and not let the treat replace an item on the pyramid chart.
Since begin obese is a big topic in the world currently and as you get older you tend to gain weight and not be able to discard it as fast as when you were younger, I have a set exercise plan to work on those areas of my body. By doing this I will control the weight and not allow it to become a problem for myself. Eating healthy will also help to control the weight gain. Being aware of your food intake can increase the weight you gain or lose. The right work out equipment can make the trip to the gym easier and feel as if you did not waste your time and work on the problem areas right away. Vitamins are a good tool to maintain healthy weight they can supplement food intake while on the run and keep weight in a healthy place. Limiting trans and saturated fat will decrease ones cholesterol. Reducing the fatty intake will help to keep weight under control because those are the bad fats for our bodies and will sit in the body and give you unwanted weight. Using the pyramid will assist in over consumption of calories which leads to weight gain. Following thru with these healthy habits will be of assistance in healthy weight maintance.
In general eating healthy will benefit your overall health. Your skin looks refreshing, your body feels great, you have more energy, and your weight is under control. Being consistent will just about guarantee a healthy longevity of life. Consistency will increase your chances of living a cancers and disease free life. Vitamins give you a general good feeling and when cold and flu season comes around your immune system will be strong to fight off the cold better. Monitoring your fat intake will also help reduce chances for heart disease and high cholesterol and other problems related to these eating to much fat. The pyramid chart is an ideal way to stay healthy. Following the chart and having food from all the groups on a daily bases and in the right amount will continue to ensure an overall health for you.
All in all eating right and exercising is only going to only benefit your life. Adding new and beneficial habits to your routine will make certain that you can see your retirement age. All these healthy ideas added to you life also ensure less related health issues such as cancers, diseases and lower cholesterol. Obesity is growing rapidly in society and starting now on the road to better health will slow the chances of rapid weight gain. Being consistent with your habits and making reasonable goal will only guarantee your success with your new habits. Living is good but living healthy will make you feel and look good. The combination of fitness and nutrition will only promote wellness for yourself and family. To ensure a healthy life you must make an obligation to yourself and treat your self right. Rewarding yourself will help promote a commitment to the addition of the new habits in your life.
