Goli_Case_Study

Goli is a 33-year-old Iranian woman who is going through a hard time right now. She has only been married for three years. She has one child from this marriage. Her husband is currently unemployed and is unable to provide for the family. Goli does not have the skills needed to obtain employment. Goli believes that there is a better world out there for her family. She wants to help the family and her husband. He holds to very traditional values regarding being the breadwinner for the family. He does not want her to work outside of the home, but realizes that they are in trouble. She fears being here at the case management unit today, because family problems are never discussed outside the family. If her husband or her family knows that she is here today, they will be unhappy with her even though they need the help.
