Curtis Curry Curtis Curry in essence is a cross cultural competency workshop leader who teaches students as well as his fellow business leaders on the cross cultural competence skills which he basically refers them as the 3Cs. Based on the Curtis Curry image, the strategies that are to be adopted can actually be geared at improving the intergroup relations within the organization. The strategies should by and large extend address individual and institutional sources of discrimination as well as prejudice in the situations and contexts within which the participants in the activity or program live, work and learn (Strategies for Reducing Racial and Ethnic Prejudice, n.d). The strategies formulated must involve participants who truly reflect linguistic, ethnic and racial diversity and be structured in a manner that ensures equal status roles and cooperative for people from different groups. It will be realized that ethnic and racial relations can only be improved by generating opportunities that encourage positive equal status interaction within the dissimilar groups. As manager I should ensure that the strategies that are adopted fully influence the individuals’ behavior including their capability and motivation so as to influence others and further ensure that they are not restricted to efforts intended to increase awareness and knowledge. It will be documented that increased motivation within the workers helps in increasing their productivity which in turn increases the profit levels of the firm hence be able to compete with its rival competitors in the marketplace.
