Applying Personality and Learning Styles Knowing your personality type and learning style can help you study more effectively. When I took the surveys in Chapter 2 of Keys to College Studying, I discovered that I am equally an Organizer and a Giver. The table below illustrates characteristics and suitable study techniques for that type. The chapter’s Intelligencesurvey indicated that my strong intelligences were Verbal/Linguistic and Interpersonal.
