People shouldn’t be judged for who they choose to be. I believe same gender marriage should not be banned in California because every person in the world has the right to decide who to be in their lives, people who choose to love a person of their own gender have the right to as many things as others, and they shouldn’t have to be discriminated for choosing to marry someone of their own gender. To begin, same gender marriage should not be banned in California because people in this world have the right to decide what to become in their lives. We should let these people be. It isn’t anyone’s business what another person chooses to become. They also should not have to be tortured for it. Imagine all the people who are hated and discriminated for loving a person of their own gender. Furthermore, same gender marriage in California shouldn’t be banned because people who marry someone of their own gender should have the same right to things, as any other person should. That’s seems very unfair. They should also not be rejected adoption. These people have the right to be happy no matter what they are. Adoption would also give them an opportunity to change a child’s life. Ultimately, same gender marriage in California should not be banned because it is unfair for these people to live in hate and discrimination for choosing to love someone of their own gender. The cause for hate and discrimination leads to many suicide deaths. It is true that perhaps homosexuals do not fall into the traditional definition of marriage, but single mothers and fathers do not necessarily fit the mold either. What is important in a marriage is love and trust. It’s the union of souls that cannot be regulated by some act of congress. In conclusion, same gender marriage should not be banned in California because people who marry someone their own gender should still have the right to things just as others do, they have the right to decide what to become in their lives, and it is unfair for these people to be hated and discriminated. All together we can stop the hatred and discrimination of gay marriage.
