One of us is to furnish a repast for the hounds. The other will sleep in this very excellent bed. On guard, Rainsford." . . . The only reason Rainsford came back was to kill General Zardoff and take his place because Rainsford really enjoyed the game and when the author wrote "He had never slept in a better bed, Rainsford decided." this meant he was gonna stay and be General Zardoff. In the lyrics "All Around Me," at one point the lyrics say," And so I cry, The light is white And I see you, I'm alive, I'm alive, I'm alive." This is when she is talking about heaven and It's only then when she is really alive and she has made it to the place she has always wanted be. Everything is perfect. This is how Rainsford feels. How hunting humans is more fun and never felt happier towards the end.
