REFLECTION JOURNAL Name: Anaili Abreu Modules 9 & 10 Module 9: Critical Vehicle Systems Answer the following questions completely about maintenance and safety of your vehicle. 1. Which mechanical part or feature listed in Module 9 do you think is most important' The engine is important to me, without it, you can't move! But then without the gas tank, the engine won’t start... I’ve noticed that every part is connected to one another. Without each other that specific part won’t play its role to the car. But to answer the question, most important part is the engine. 2. Why is that particular part or feature so important' The fact the car won’t move without the engine makes it extremely important. 3. How do you benefit from that part or feature' I’ll be able to transport myself from place to place. Module 10: Sharing the Road with Others Stops and Starts: Reflect on Module 10 and the entire course. Look back at your journal entries. Explain the following completely. Being the Driver: Stops: Using the information learned in this course, explain three things you will not do when driving. 1. Drink while driving 2. Listening to music by headphones while driving 3. Text while driving Explain why you will not do these things when driving. 1. All the rules are made for our own safety and one another, now if you don’t do what’s right there will be consequences. DUI, prison, and even death. Starts: Using the information learned in this course, explain three things you will do when driving. 1 .keep caution for road signs 2.Maintain my speed limit as shown on the road 3.And stay alert for any bad drivers on the road, and switch lanes immediately or stay about 4 feet away Explain why you will do these particular things when driving. 1.it makes me a safe driver on the road, which satisfies my well being for me and for others in the road. Riding as a Passenger: Explain one thing you will stop doing as a passenger. 1. Distracting the driver from the road. Explain one thing you will start doing as a passenger. 1. If the driver needs anything, I will give in to do it for them as in changing the radio and assisting back seat passengers.
