What do you think of the false degrees that many of our politicians hold'  Is this a good thing or bad thing and why'  How do they get these false degrees'  What can be done to stop them from getting these degrees and using them for political gain'  Or does it matter that they have these degrees'  Does it make a difference in what they do or don’t do or the country'  Can you respect someone who uses false papers to gain a position'   What role does the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan play in stopping the acceptance of false degrees'  Are they being effective in what they are supposed to do or not' Introduction: False degree of the elected members of assemblies is one of the hottest topics in year 2010. Some politicians accepted this crime during hearing in court and they immediately resign from the membership of assembly seats. Alas! Election Commission of Pakistan did not raised objection on their fraud and accept their nominee papers during submission time. So, they are again reelected in elections. Politicians said they are most favorites in their constituencies but no one favorite in Constitution of Pakistan. A favorite man is a role model for followers and these are never allowed to show illegal degrees for election. A sincere person obeys the principles not the desire of their followers. Quaid-e-Azam is the man of principle not the father of desire daughter. False degrees are not favorable action for politician’s political career and it consider as serious crime under the fraud with nation. Each university should take serious and result-able action under the university against these criminals. Fake degree to get through any way it’s never an appreciate-able action. It’s shameful for the Pakistan’s political system and educational system credibility and creates the dissatisfaction in the society. Well educated unemployed youngsters may be frustrated through these scandals. Most of the masses thought that they can get easily every degree to pay some huge amount of money or gifts. Moreover, they can think every person achieve high ranks on the behalf of faulty degrees. It is the cancer for the health growth of the society and bowing the seeds for uncontrollable corruption. Now, people think they can purchase everything on the basis of wealth. It is not a simple issue. It creates set a trend in society like as two decades before Pajero trend came in Pakistan as a status. Afterward, Dish Antenna trend, Mobile trend and Dates trends grow in Pakistan respectively. Fake degrees scandal is the turmoil of Pakistan education system. May be in near future, Education will consider as the status model and it may be create the false degree trend. I am afraid, the showoff trend of education is so dangerous and these are like as AIDS disease not only for society, it also for Pakistan economy bitterly affected and its Educational System will be question mark on the international level. Our talented students face lot of difficulties for admissions in high quality of educational universities. Theirs researches are always objectionable due to those false degree holder, which have membership of National or Provincial Assembly. Politician’s power game converted into the serious problematic issue, they adopted the wrong shortcut way for regain or maintain the power in constituencies and parties or other political purposes. But is not a democratic attitude of elected politician. It’s a dictatorship mind on the label of democracy. Democracy is the name of one of the best came in power for the prosperity of peoples of country not for personal interest or business. So, this attitude is not good for Pakistan democracy attitude. A question came rise in our mind how can we get these degrees' Faulty degrees can get through many ways but all have common root cause; it is a corruption among peoples, institutions. It may be different shapes of illegality or procedures. Today, we live in digital world. Perhaps, a good designer can made a same copy of degree with illegal signatures of authorities through computer designer and paper technology. Some persons get the university blank degree legal document through sources and to give bribe to concern persons. This work is normally done by a proper network of different groups of peoples. Sometimes, official persons prepare by these faulty degrees and they adopt all the legally procedure but they could not maintain the complete and proper study records of the false degree holder. Everything has been look as legal, signatures put by the concern authorities. But the actual health of the degree is serious ill. For this reason it is clear that some official black sheep’s must involve in the whole scenario. They provide the fake degrees to politician for personal benefits. Illegal signatures are itself a serious crime and if we know these signatures are illegal then documented presenter person also included in that crime. Where stands our false degree politicians in Pakistan politics' We should think about them. Sometimes, another person appear in exams on the behalf of the actual person that person maintain the complete study record and got the degree. This trend is commonly used in distance learning universities. Now, the most of the universities try to control on this serious issue through put the snap of the student on legal documents viz. date sheet, result card and degree. It is a good step to stop these activities. Suggestions It can be stop and traced these networks with the help of centralized verification system. This system under the control of Higher Education Commission and all major universities are part of this system. An independent check and balance system should be introduced on these authorities without any political or universities interference. Each university should upgraded to itself and introduce the Online Computerized System, in which authorize person have only those rights to access which are describe under the rules in SOP documents of departments. No person could not interfere other official workers jobs. Each employee should aware, they obey the exceptional cases and orders of higher authorities on the basis of written proof they never accept the verbal communication of bosses. Computerized database maintains the complete log record of each person. Log means each activity is recorded against his name and designation with date and time. This record will only be readable; it is not changeable. On the monthly or semester or annual bases; each student complete record will automatically transfer to “Higher Education Commission Record System” (HECRS). When a student completed his degree and apply for abroad studies, he must send all the universities level degrees to HEC for attestation and HEC verify the student through record and returned to the students. If this process is compulsory for each politician and employees of the governmental services. It will be a good step; if any person put wrong information or work, he can easily accessible through his log record not only find out a official level involvement; may be authorities reaches towards the actual faces. In my view, it is not necessary an educated politician is only a good politician. An uneducated political worker may be a good politician of future. Politics based on a visionary leadership qualities. The sign of a good leader is fairness. His attitude, behavior and qualities are the role model of nation. He sets the trend not the copier. Therefore, fake degree holders have no more right for politics. They are involved in fraud case. Universities should take action against them and announced the conviction about their crim. So, if a person convicted by the university or court, he is not illegible to appear in election process. Now, it is a serious question mark of Pakistan’s universities, boards and courts' Why they do not take complete action under the Rules and procedures of the institutions' Moreover, why election commission did not declared as not illegible fake degree holders to election process on the behalf of fraud activity' There politician are not respectable, they are the shame for the country. Higher Education Commission (HEC) needs to more improvement this system. It can reduce these faults through effective and efficient communication with all the universities of Pakistan. It should plan to make a board of hones, well educated, aware and sincere senior educationist; they also consider as credible person in society. They look the education, examination and declaring result procedure and systems with deep eyes with broad vision and continually give the suggestion to HEC and relevant university, HEC should responsible to practically implement these suggestions, after the consultation and discussion. Through this way Pakistan’s educational system improve and corruption of false degree will be reduce. Conclusion: Fake degrees are not good sign for Pakistan education and politics. It creates the frustration amongst the nation and especially young generation, through this way corruption rate may be increase. This disappear condition to dishearten the hardworking students. It is not only the issue of politicians repute and credibility. It is a crisis of the society and the good image of Pakistan in international world. HEC should introduce a Centralized Online System with proper record maintaining. Those politicians’ degrees declared as false. Election Commission should announce a strict and lesson-able action against them and should adopt the strategy to discourage these kinds of faulty activities.
