Erickson Paper To relate myself with Erickson’s trust vs. mistrust as an infant and child I trusted people and they trusted me as I later got older, I learned that trusting people wasn’t always easy. The reason being was that I seemed to have noticed as I started dating in my teenage years I was lied to on several occasions from my boyfriends as well as some of my best friends. Therefore my trust in people had gone away. In his emotional development I never had fear or anger as a child or infant I was always a happy go lucky baby I learned to crawl, walk, and talk very early and had a normal development. The only caregivers I had when my parents went away or out which was rarely ever were family and family friends, I adapted better than my brothers did, but as far as my mom can remember I never got stranger anxiety just shy as I grew into toddler and childhood. In the temperament and development area I would have been considered as an easy but shy child. As I got older the easy and shyness followed but I was well mannered and was very kind and considerate of people and their feelings. I was very attached to my family but when I had to go with someone else I adjusted well with them. When I hit my teenage years instead of going out every night and partying like all of my friends again I was the easy and smart one I stayed home and studied for school and it paid off. Now at the age of 25 years I am marries going to school for nursing and have a beautiful 3 month old daughter and if I would have stayed hanging out with the croud of friends in high school I wouldn’t be where I am today. I also owe that to my mom and helping taking care of my grandma when I was 13 years old. I may have had to grow up quick but not that quick.
