From the available topics my selection is the Economic Crisis. The Global Financial Crisis of 2008 created a credit crisis and took away the American Dream; this being the biggest crisis since the great Depression. The saying; Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness has indeed, changed for everyone. Due to the relaxing regulations encouraged people to become home owners and a few decisions on the following need to be resolved: What is the cause of the Mortgage Crisis; The effects of Financial Regulations; and The National Debt. This is a deliberate disregard for ethical and responsible conduct in the financial industry, and unless a more rigorous behavior is observed, another crisis, perhaps even more severe, will surely manifest in the near future. Worked 5 ½ hours without interruption Saturday night from 6-11:30 PM EDT with AIU Tech support to be able to open eBook, as adobe would not download. This was very frustrating, but with their assistance, I can now open the eBook. All my classes until now with AIU were hard copy books mailed to me. Three different User IDs and Passwords are irritating as well; to sign into AIU On-Line, into MyCompLab, and eBook every time you want to open a chapter. In exploring the MyCompLab I will give my thoughts on the two portlets I have reviewed: The “To Do” portlet Self-Assessment Diagnostics are excellent mainly to let me know what I don’t know.
