Dream Job Every one in the world must have a dream. However, some of us can make our dream come true but others can’t. As myself, my dream is to be a nurse. I don’t have any background knowledge such as experience about it. But I feel confident that I can be a good nurse. I don’t have a family member who is a nurse. in addition, to be a nurse was a dream when I was little until now I still keep that dream and want to make it be true. First of all, the challenges I have overcome to be a nurse is my English, I have to improved it for four years before I be in nursing program. Specifically, it was difficult to me because I worked full time and took my English class at night. Beside that I have to prove my knowledge by talking other classes. For example, I took math, computer, food and nutrition as so on. I have been reading many nurses books to get information about the nurse. Such as, what the nurse do, how they feel about their patient and technical of the nurse. However, all things that I have done are never waste. Now, my English is much better than it was, I can communicated fluency in English, feel confident. Importantly I’m in the nursing program now. I can know more about the nurse and what I was wondering how they do their job' Do they afraid to the sick people' Now i am learning how to take care of the patient and I’m not afraid of it. I feel that they need my help. I always tell myself that I have to try my best with my heart, feel they are as my own family and I have that feeling at every time the teacher tell me to practice in our class now. This makes me proud of myself a lot. Secondly, my father and my boyfriend always help me. Specific, my father support me for finical. For example, he takes care of my bills and helps me to pay for school, give the money when I need it. He always tells me don’t worry about the finical. Additional, my boyfriend always be with me. For example, He tells me to study and tries to help me as he can. He helps me for school supplies and comes to my house to help me cleans my room or set up my new printer, because he wants me to spend all my time for study. I’m happy to have them are my family and I could not be at school without their help. Lastly, I have to be success in nursing school. Specifically, I have to study harder as I can. I will plan my time; find someone to study together, study group and study with tutors. Listen to the teacher, I will ask my teacher to explain if I getting confusing on her/his lecture. Take note in class as much possible, use highlighter for the main thing when I read through the books, online learning skill and test preparation. Addition, making a study card to learn a new work such as for anatomy and pharmacology or others classes that make me remember. Also, try to study at least four hours a day after school. Moreover, I will stop hang out with my friends, no party or others things anymore until I finished my nursing program. After all, I believe that after I completing the VN program I will see myself difference with what I am now. I will confident because I have a good job and working with many difference people that would be interesting. But my goal is not to stop at LVN. I will continue to study to get my education higher to get in the RN program. I will work and study part time to get the RN license.
