Discipline

'Spare the rod and spoil the child' goes the famous phrase. Discipline does not mean hitting the child or insulting him. Rather it’s the challenge of being friendly to the child and at the same time firm. I agree that there should be no corporal punishment in schools But there should be a certain amount of discipline that should be inculcated among the students in a proper way so that they become better citizens and better human beings. Discipline should be a part of the school. Love and care is necessary towards a child for his/her development. But, at the same time, one should be disciplined for breaking the laid down rules of the school.” By silence I conceal my imperfections and come to know others.” Yes of course discipline is very much necessary in schools. If we are maintaining discipline in govt. offices, software companies, army, navy so why not in school which is the first place to learn discipline. Since well know that school is the second home of a child. So it is very important to learn discipline in school only. Discipline doesn’t mean that the child is not free do to anything. discipline means to do things in systematic way like coming schools in neat tidy and well ironed dress, coming school in time etc.... if we learn all these things in schools only then we will not face any problems in future. Because in offices we are supposed to come in formals, well dressed, on time etc. all these things mandatory to learn in schools itself.
